how does the automated banning system work?

i understand it picks out choice words (one can only assume from "bad" to racist terms, etc), but what if i'm falsely reported after saying something along the lines of "i'm bad"? would it just pick out the word "bad" and reprimand me thinking i was calling someone else bad?

i was recently reported by a four-man blind pick for a reason i can guess is i called top when one of their guys wanted it, and i was told my "behavior wasn't in-line". now i don't really get why considering i never insulted them or said anything directed at them, but i would like to know if the system could understand when i say "dicks" because i died, and not assume i called everyone dicks for no reason

Hey Obliviongate20,

The warning popup triggers on total number of reports you are getting, but an actual punishment is not. It's easy for a premade to make the warning pop if you're close to it already, but they have no extra power as a group to get you audited and punished. Unless you're spamming "dicks" in all your games (which would probably count as negative behavior) it's extremely unlikely that this could ever trigger an audit for a punishment.

In the extremely rare case where insulting yourself results in you getting punished by the Instant Feedback system, you can request a manual review if your case and they'd remove it. Basically, don't worry about it, but be mindful of how your actions might be perceived by others.

TL;DR - You're fine. The entire system is designed to minimize this.
