People encourageing AFK

So i wanted to have some fun playing the other game mode than ranked, and got an intentionnal afk in aram (he was still typing, he was just mad at another player for some reason). When i asked for people to report him for afking in base, i got flamed, and they encouraged him to afk. There was a dude that flamed me a lot on the other team and that said he reported me for negative attitude because i wanted to report an afk...

Is this really how it is? like i understand its not ranked, so you can take things more casually, but i felt like having a guy get mad and afk on purpose was still not okay. how is 4v5 even fun ? why is it so bad to report people in casual game ? are they not ruining the fun of the game just because its casual mode ?

its how some people react towards others. Some people do take modes like ARAM, normals, vs AI, and URF to name a few as serious if not more than rank. its the sad truth but to some winning is the only reason to playing. They cannot simply enjoy the game for what it is, they need to win. And if they cant do that, they will try within their power to make it so that you dont win.

It is considered bad form to request others to report someone afking. It has been known to affect people getting chat banned, etc who say it. Best to simply report them yourself after, and anyone else may also.

The reason why is because it does not matter if someone gets reported once or by all 9 other people it still just raises a flag for Riot to do a quick look at the account.

Also asking for people to report someone falls under harassment and again is a waste of time since I'm guessing you remembered to report them...
