Is league worth it anymore ?

Ive been playing league almost since it started and i love it with a passion the game the lore all of it despite some issues i for the most part love riot/league but what is wrong with this community i mean i get it league is known for being toxic but like there are moments were its not even people being toxic its just straight up nonsense there have been too many times where a troll is the result of me falling behind and i get barrated by my team and its nothing light like you suck or stop playing its worse like kill yourself or i hope you get raped which as a rape victim tore me to shreds im aware i can mute but ive met some of my best friends through league and i guess the concept of muting my team each game to avoid being harassed and attacked for any little reason is just depressing.

League isn't a way of life. It's a game. You don't need to grind content like in WoW. If you take a break, it'll be here if you return. If you quit, you aren't letting guildmates down or something.

An individual game should never become so important to your life that you can't let yourself quit. If League makes you unhappy, you should find a healthier use of your time.

There's no better feeling than getting into promos only to have someone go 0-17 claiming they are running it down mid and have the ability to report and get u punished if u flame or call them an asshat or any cuss word. It's the best feeling to know ur hands are tied because riots punishment system was designed by a bunch of SJWs who believe in safe spaces in a fcking video game

Sounds like you don't have the mechanics to really enjoy the play. Anything can be turned around, it depends how you look at the situation.

You being a rape victim is not up for me to decide whether its the truth or not, but I agree that muting my team is a concept I can't get on board with.

I just made a post about this. I think over the past year the community has massively gone downhill. You really do just have to mute everyone if you don't want to hear some shit from someone. It can be a great game but the people act like children.
