I'm trolling in numerous games with not even a warning

jimmyjames109··7 votes·2,321 views

I've decided to troll until I quit and nothing is being done to stop me. I was tired of bs and just trolled and I seem to just get away with it. What the hell is going on here? I don't get it. I can throw every game and nothing happens. This is why I started doing this and it's hilarious. I'll make more accounts just to troll if this gets banned but it never does. Not even a warning.

Instead of flaming, I have to ask "why are you doing this"? How does throwing your own matches benefit you, as a person? Im aware of misery loves company; and Im sure you feel justified in some "if others can do it, why cant I" mentality... but typically I feel these behaviors are reflective of your actual persona in real life. If you give up this easily on a video game, kind of makes me wonder what you are doing in real life that follows. There is one luxury in this world that no matter how rich you get, you will never get more of -> time. You are literally wasting yours and others time. Think about this before continuing your self destructive path.

Literally, you can't flame them without getting punished--ergo, your only option, if you want to [safely] say anything about it, is to ask why. And that, in my opinion, is a win, since it's closer to the way actual collaboration with random people works. Still, it can't stop the trolls, can't make the old younger, or lower the price of bread.

I guess. I'm still not even getting a warning.

Lately, the problem with detecting troll behavior and intentional throwing is that people have to compare your reported games to your normal games because trolling isn't like it used to be.

No one really runs down lanes without casting abilities anymore. No one really buys all tears anymore. No one stands still and dies to enemies anymore.

It's all stealth trolling. So, it looks like bad plays but without a reference to your normal play style... it's hard to figure out if it's trolling or if it's just bad playing.

Because the lengths people go to in order to hide their troll behavior has made it more difficult for Riot to detect trolling. This is why it's taking so long for you to get punished. If you used the old obvious methods of trolling, you'll get banned a lot faster.

I mean, if you want to waste your life, go ahead. You could be using this time to actually contribute something to society.

By playing a computer game a certain way?

heh. yea as long as you dont write in chat theres like a 0.01% chance that you get a human review. so you are kinda like tryn in his ult. undying and make others rage :D

i also got a "troll" smurf. its so calm and relaxing man. im not hardcore trolling like i dont throw games and often enough i carry them... but yea if a team is toxic i just go afk-farm and smile as they flame and push themselves closer and closer to a punishement.

not to mention... more and more ppl do this. the amount of "bronze 5 trolls" i met in low elo is insane. and hilarious aswell

The ban system seems much harsher on verbal abuse than trolling which is quite saddening to me. I legitimately played with a Twitch once who said "I'm running down mid" as soon as the game started, kept dying under enemy mid tower for the rest of the game, and got our mid and jgl so angry they just ragequit the game. He didn't get banned and when I searched his account a week later he had a whole new slat of defeats in his match history where he went 0/17/0 ish and ending level 2 or 3. Every single game. And yet somehow he was not banned.

This is more sad than anything else.

You're willing to give up your own free time and effort just so people will dislike you. You don't actually achieve any sort of result as far as Riot noticing. Not only are you an outlier, but you're just one player among millions no matter how much of your life you waste.

I often wonder what kind of troubles you're having behind the screen for you to relish being a horrible person. I guess for most trolls being hated is the only way for them to feel powerful.

What's the difference between me and others playing the game and flaming? I actually think it's hilarious to watch people flip out. I lose as much time as anyone else playing the game.

Linuxpenguin23 votes

because you gain nothing by watch others suffer. Also, 99% of players play to improve and enjoy the game. the 1% of trolls are the outliers, and are frankly weird. Kind of pathetic you have nothing better going on in your life, where you have to resort to these tactics, but if it keeps your depression at bay, I guess so be it.

because you gain no intrinsic benefit over watching suffering of others. Its a pretty simple concept

I would very much disagree. it's way more FUN to play league and not try, and then getting players banned is just a bonus

RIOT...this account should be banned and every account associated with all IP address linked to this account should be heavily monitored.

If you guys are serious about getting rid of trash players, this kind of person should not get through.

Right on. But somehow nothing is done to me.

They need to bring back tribunal to punish players for soft inting and flaming without using keywords. Honestly only way to fix report system. Especially now with the replay system punishing players for troll picking on purpose/soft inting would be very easy.

I think it's funny how people are downvoting while missing the entire point of the post. He's getting away with it so easily, but if I cuss him out, I could get a chat ban, or worse.

You will be caught quickly if you're rude, but you can ruin games by intentionally performing poorly and you won't even get looked at.

So he just suddenly got bored of league a couple of weeks ago?

Funnily enough this guy hasn't played for 17 days.
