why this game needs an overhaul for the casual player and report system is broken

so this last game i had a bad game and team flamed cursed and harassed me for that and just because of my rank. in a normal game. not even ranked. they all report me even though i did nothing but casually play the game like i always do to unwind. in after game chat the jax on my team says i_ have two friends that work for riot and ill get you banned_. so of course i got a chat restriction. this game is to serious and the player base to toxic for the casual player and has become less and less enjoyable in my first year playing. as i run into similar situations often. not saying i dont have my own issues in game, but mostly they are minor compared to others. The reporting system is wack and needs to have a better way of working through things especially if people are using inside leverage to ban or punish people. the game has become so dull and** full of trolls or players that think they are so above everyone else** that they just flame you and become toxic. again obviously i have my own problems with this, because of reasons caused by other people. and i know we have a mute button but when someone is harassing or the whole team it gets frustrating and makes the game un-enjoyable. However none of them will recieve any kind of reprimand for harassing you because you can only file one report and one report doesn't get looked at or considered as much as 2 or 4. i will be taking a long break from this game and** heavily considering whether to come back or not.** This all being said _not all of my experience has been bad on this game _, i have had a lot of fun playing with friends and randoms that helped keep my interest in this game. however those experiences are few compared to the toxic and unsportsmanlike behavior i have encountered. I hope i can find interest in this game once again but need to take a break and figure out if it is worth my time to come back and if i can _deal with the abuse and player misconduct. _

That's not how it works. You get a chat restriction for your behavior. If you didn't do anything wrong, you should have no problem posting your chat logs here for the community to see you did nothing wrong.

I'm sorry to hear that - I hope you were able to report the players threatening you with bans because that sort of behavior is easily detected and punished by the IFS. You may not (and likely won't) get any notification of their punishment however.

However none of them will recieve any kind of reprimand for harassing you because you can only file one report and one report doesn't get looked at or considered as much as 2 or 4.

This is untrue. Any reports after the first one in a game are ignored - it only takes one report against an individual for their behavior to be reviewed, and that review proceeds the same regardless of if 1 or 9 players reported them.
