Permabanned almost a year ago...

Twas completely deserved, however, I was hoping I could ask a rioter to re-consider one final chance. I was having a really rough time period in my life back then and took it out on people in league. I know I said stuff that was unacceptable, however, I have almost completely reformed(every off 15th-20th game i might have a small blow up, nothing like before, before i promptly mute). Ive been playing most of the time on another account(as suggested by riot support) and haven't had a single chat restriction on it yet. There is a LOT of value worth in skins on the account, and I'd really appreciate some love. I can give you my accounts name if you would like to review the chat history over the past year-ish on it.

Sincerely, RawEchoes

Ps. Im sorry for being a filthy fizz main, im working on reforming that next =S pss. Riots obviously dodging this so rip any efforts.

These are the kinds of things that I think should actually be considered. A player who has demonstrated reform asking for another chance after a substantial wait period.

As a fellow-in-arms of the reform club, you have my support.

While I'm happy to see you have reformed, if they were to change the stance and even give one more person another chance, they would have to do it for a another, that is why when they said permanent, they meant it, I do wish you the best on this account though, truly.

For my money, this is typically what the riot "reforms" system wants out of it; a 'bad player turned good' story. I doubt they'll ever give you your account back because they never do, but I hope for the best Fizz Playing Scum

I'll upvote for ya

If you have reformed then you deserve it

Edit: "deserve it" as in deserve to have the account back

If they gave it back to you then that wouldn't be a permaban, I think they shouldn't do it, many others will then think that they can do whatever the heck they want because Riot will give them their account back, sorry but this isn't something Riot should do.

Alright, you've convinced me. Take my opvote! In all seriousness though, they should give you another chance IMO. It has been a while, you got to play with a better attitude on your smurf. Assuming you'll play with that same improved mentality on your main, I don't see any issue here. summoner 31

Part of the punishment is that you lose all those goodies, skins, icons, champions, rune pages, etc. that you've accumulated. You were warned what would happen if you didn't change your ways, and you ignored it. Now, you have to deal with the punishment. Permanent ban doesn't mean "a year with good behavior", it means forever.

You're probably less toxic than 99.999999999% of all other players in the community. Understand that 99.999999999% of all players are extremely toxic.

lolptwo4/3/2016, 3:54:47 PM5 votes

The only problem is, that if they did this for you. They would have to reconsider everyone.

This account was also permabanned a year ago. In addition I was Diamond 3 at the time playing every day with the likes of Nightblu3 and Annie Bot in my games. I ran into one singular toxic player that I got 4 games in a row (this happens in Diamond 3) and he intentionally trolled me 4 games in a row while being incredibly toxic and spam adding me on separate accounts telling me to "kill myself" to the point where Riot told me don't add anyone I don't know (instead of actually punishing the guy)

I took this as they don't care and went on a toxic rampage and got permabanned after never stopping playing (because at Diamond 3 you literally have to play every day to maintain your mechanics)

I never got that good again. I never returned to Diamond 3 level of play, and that account I had(with all runes/all rune pages and all champions) never got returned and I never made a whine thread asking for it back, just accepted it was gone.

That's the thing though Raw, they can't just make 1 exception and I doubt they will. Then they have to look at anyone who was permabanned a year ago.

That's how business works.

So many people eager to enforce rules over a bunch of pixels anyway the guy has cahnged give him a chance if hes toxic again ip ban him.

The rules say no, so either we change the rules for everyone, or you're stuck.

Best way ive seen is to make a new account and get an honorable banner or friendly banner. Then show proof of ownership and show them the reform.

I really have mixed feelings on this, while I see at as a great idea, allowing players to get their accounts back after a proven amount of time...I also think back to my past on LoL, years ago when I had just started, the players who made me almost fear playing this game, and the reason I didn't touch ranked games for 3 years...knowing players like that could get their accounts back, after the amount of trauma and stress they may have put on their teammates (or even enemies) fully knowing the risks...I almost feel compelled to say they deserve to live with their choices. Of course, they can just play on an alt, but with that said, they've already faced the consequences and hopefully won't be re-making that same mistake, and for the people like that, of course I have no qualm with them getting their accounts back...but what about the people who haven't changed? They get their account back, and cause just as much trauma as they did before? Sometimes a 2nd chance is too much to risk. I also hardly believe you don't get warned a few times, if not a time-ban, for what you've done, and you fully know its wrong.

Duke Anax4/3/2016, 4:49:38 PM2 votes

I heard of one or two professionals who got their account banned and where allowed back after they showed improvement on a new account.

KaisadiIIa4/3/2016, 8:52:58 PM2 votes

There is a reason they won't give you your account back even if you have reformed.

If you were living alone in this planet, then you'd get your account back because you probably deserve it, but you don't and doing so would unleash a barrage of players requesting for their accounts to be unbanned, pushing the limits further and further each time. If you got your account back, then why this player whose case is almost as good as yours doesn't? And, if they do, why the next player whose case is almost as good as them doesn't? You get the idea.

Also, other people would think that permabans aren't that bad, because there is a chance you get it back and that makes it feel less punishing overall.

And ultimately, some people would be toxic, then act as honorable players for some time to get their account back, and then become toxic again, knowing that they can 'get back' their accounts by holding themselves for some time.

tl;dr: Doing so would set a precedent that would make some people try to abuse the system and a lot others, include RIOTERs, feel bad.

Banuvan4/3/2016, 2:16:23 PM2 votes

Wouldn't this negate the whole "permanent" aspect of the ban?

Akeydel4/3/2016, 9:09:29 PM1 votes

Here's a totally technical problem with the argument: Does Riot store the data from permabanned accounts? I honestly have no idea, but if i would guess they delete an account after the permaban, or at least after a certain grace period for the ban to be contested.

New accounts cost about 10 USD lvl 30. Don't waste money on skins.

Fishee6664/3/2016, 6:07:44 PM1 votes

Yes I believe you deserve a chance, me as well.. Their punishment system is a reformation system am I wrong? If we change in the few months then why wouldn't they give you a more reasonable punishment? You deserve the chance as much as every other person that believes they changed, I'm sure they could take 3 minutes out of their day to read the new chat logs and reconsider the ban.
