Support going top lane

I was playing a RANKED game and i was playing kalista, typically you'd bind with the support at the start of the game to make use of your abilities, however my lulu support refused and went top lane until i binded with our jungler, so i ended up playing 1 vs 2 the ENTIRE game, AND put our top laner at an exp disadvantage. please tell me this is atleast punishable in one way or another? ive heard of a singed player going smite and running around invading as a support and he got banned, what about this guy who played with me?

Obviously going top lane put your team at a little disadvantage. However, Lulu is not YOUR support. She is the TEAM support. So long as she is "supporting", she will not be punished for going top or mid (hell, not even when she starts to take cs....)

Although I think there's more to the story. Something must had happen for the Lulu to go top. Even if she is duo-Q with the top laner, I have a hard time believing anyone would willingly put his duo top lane partner at an experience disadvantage and draw jungle ganks.

That guy got unbanned. The final verdict was as long as you are trying to win, it is ok.

I don't know the Lulu's reasoning, but hopefully their toplane got drained of gold.

Nope. He was just supporting top lane instead of bottom. You could have asked if Lulu would stay top should you and whoever top was switched. I mean, that also means you had an exp advantage technically bot lane.
