Co-op vs. AI is Broken

I just got out of an intermediate co-op versus AI match, as I was just messing around on an alternate account of mine. However, the co-op versus AI option is broken. Not the link, but the game mode itself is broken. In my most recent match, all four of my teammates were bots (and every co-op versus AI match I've been in recently has had at least one). For someone who's played for a long time like myself, it's not a big deal. For newer League of Legends players who are still learning the basics, it's intolerable.

A newer player won't enjoy the challenge of having to defend against five fed enemy AI when they're around the level of skill of the bots anyways. If you have four bots on a team that all run down mid and feed the AI Katarina ten kills in ten minutes, they're not going to enjoy getting one-shot by her. They're not going to be able to handle extreme ramp up in difficulty (unless they're already far above the skill level of the AI already, but this isn't about those people). They're not going to have fun, and then they're going to quit League of Legends.

It's ridiculous that mode in which newer players are supposed to be able to learn, practice, and experiment on is now broken beyond belief. There's no sense of competition against the AI - unless you have at least one player on your team far above the skill of the AI, if you're a beginner, you're destined to lose because of the bots.

And also, from the perspective of someone who has raised the level of his accounts on his own, it's despicable that people can just buy botted up accounts and not have to earn anything.

While I will admit that Riot should do a better job on these bot accounts, I rarely encounter bots in Co-op Vs. AI (keyword: rarely). If you suspect that there's a bot in your game then report them in-game and via a support ticket as well also (with screenshots provided in the ticket of the account(s) in question).

Report the bots after the game to get them banned, but there's nothing else we as players can do about them simply creating more accounts and hooking them up to scripts. It's down to Riot to filter them out.

It's not so much broken, it's just infested. There really is nothing they can do about it because it is a free game and anyone can make an account. The best we as players can do is report the mans try to leave details as to why you think they are bots.

the people who do buy ebay accounts are on the risk of getting permabaned at any given time.

That said, most people who buy accounts use it to smurf for whatever reason they choose.

Well I mean if you are a new player you shouldn't be starting off on intermediate bots anyways since you have no idea how the game even works but I get what you are saying.

It's more the matching that is an issue than the actual game mode. The game mode is fine. If it is matching you with bots, THAT is the issue.

I wonder if this bot problem is especially serious for certain levels? Haven't been playing for some months, back and usually do Co-op vs. AI (5v5) intermediate, basically got 1-3 bot players every. single. play. (that's so annoying; let alone sometimes smurf ones are also in and they just laugh and do nothing besides waiting for the end of game).
