Ranked rewards and account ban Question

So a friend of mine was banned on the 3rd of August this year, until the 11th or so I believe. Now this friend introduced me to league of legends and taught me practically everything I know in the game, Was playing 4 years before I even knew the game existed! He is a great player and I love having him on my team every game when we can play together, and even helped me greatly with getting to gold. We are now the same rank! Now yes there are times where he may try hard and make a mistake which ends up in him giving a kill or so, and people would antagonize him and he would get pretty mad and start saying things back that may have not been so nice, but since he has come back from his ban he has not been arguing, and when there is nothing nice to be said he will say nothing at all, which is amazing because Its as if he has changed his ways so much and learned his lesson. My question now is will he be eligible for the ranked season 7 rewards? The riot page clearly states that the ban must've been issued within 3 months of the season end. Keyword, issued, right? His ban was issued on the 3rd of August and since returning as a silver 3 and grinding and climbing up to gold 5 with a whole new behavior and attitude I think he deserves his rewards but let me know what you guys think, and or if riot could please add a response would also be very helpful! Thanks all!

Here is a short list of things that will get your ass disqualified from rewards: If you got a 7 day (or more) ban _**issued **_on August 7th 00:01 PDT (or local server time) or after, you will be ineligible to receive rewards. If you are actively banned on Nov 8th 00:01 PDT (or local server time) , you will also be ineligible. If you have an active chat restriction or are currently banned on Nov 8th, 00:01 PDT (or local server time) , you will be ineligible to receive rewards. If you were punished for being boosted (or the boost-ee) anytime this season, you will be ineligible for rewards.

Like you wrote, its "issued" on the 7th Aug or after. If it was issued before then and your friend hasn't been punished like that since then they'll get this year's season rewards.

I asked specifically about this, and they clarified that they really do mean the issuing of the ban must be before August 7th to be eligible. If it ends after then you're still fine.

The 7 Day suspension needs to be issued on or after Aug 7th, 00:01 to make you ineligible.

If you got a 7 day ban on Aug 6th for example, you would still be eligible.
