Auto punish anyone typing "report (champion)"

Supposedly, incitement to report players is considered Toxic by Riot last time I checked. There are specific grounds to report someone, but someone that wants others to report someone for no reason isn't being fair minded. They are not just being rude, they are seeking to abuse the report function & kill someones's account. This isn't good for players & it's not good for Riot's business model.

Plenty of players need a "short sharp shock" to bring them into line. Automating this will catch a swag of players that refuse to change & the ones that won't pull their head in will get banned eventually with no further human intervention.

And what if I say "Please report <champion> for afk/racist comments/other offenses" I should not be punished as a player for informing the other team of an ally acting against the summoners code and asking them for help in bringing it to the attention of Riot.

Personally, I understand why people would occasionally ask "Report _____ please." And frankly, the "Autopunish" idea disgusts me.

There are two types of people who are asking "Report", and the first category is as you described. Rude and not fair minded. These are the people who just scream "Report this idiot." "Report this feeder." Those who are speaking more out of malice than logical reasoning.

The second category are those who are frustrated while dealing with individuals who are quite frankly toxic. Occasionally, they will be quiet and polite, asking for the report in game when the frustration cracks them, but most of the time they will ask for the report calmly in the after-game lobby.

This is an online game. People are toxic here. So, "AutoPunish", where is the "Fair Minded" model for those who are already being punished by needing to deal with toxic persons? Mute is an option, but it does not fix the intentional trolling. If you were truly asking to be "fair minded", you wouldn't be asking for this.

If someone on my team ragequits or AFKs I ask for a report, if they are verbally harassing me I ask for the report post match. There's nothing wrong with asking for reports, it's easy to tell who should be reported .

Player that has 15/0/20 stats finally dies, thirty minutes into the game. "Report X for feeding :P" Aaaand punished for making a joke.

Instant punishments based on specific combination of characters are never a good idea.

It's already automated as such. Rito's ban bot pretty much auto-flags anyone who merely types the word 'report' into chat for punishment. There are several words treated as such. Examples include 'feed', 'boosted', 'bad', 'ff@20', 'gg ez'. ETC typing any of these things or variations on them into chat regardless of context will get you flagged for punishment. It'd be nice if they'd release a complete list so we'd be know how to circumvent this nonsense.

I swear it's like people see a thread with something they agree with, then immediately go make a thread about the same topic on these forums o.o.
