Why isn't riot support using real people instead of bots?

So I came across this post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/4o7pnq/so_apparently_mentioning_you_will_report_someone/ which had two interesting things, first that apparently not saying anything toxic can still get you banned (chat log: http://link.email.riotgames.com/YesConnect/HtmlMessagePreview?c/K8G8HbffWGCxZGTVLSUL2p6T/%2BZIkd7dqKnkzEP%2B0=.enc&msgVersion=we ) doesn't contain anything offenable and, what is more troubling, that riot support reply is just a bot reply because it doesn't mention banana. What is up with that? I would expect that at least in case of permanent ban, you would actually reply with human being?

Btw account isn't mine just something that worries me when I saw that...

Saying you'll report someone is a reportable offense, under harassment. Calling someone boosted is as well.

You don't have to worry about it though. For a chat log like this, this individual was warned with a chat restriction, a stricter chat restriction, and a 2 week ban, and finally this. On its own, this chat log is NOT bannable, and not something that would normally be permanently banned. Reportable easily. And because this person could not hold their tongue, they escalated the automated system and reached the point of permanent. They KNEW this would be coming. And they didn't try to fix it.

I personally dislike the escalation of permanency. I believe only certain things from chat need to be permanently banned: racist, sexist, homophobic remarks, suicide suggestions (kys), wishing/threatening harm on another person (I hope you get cancer, I'm going to kill you). There should be two escalations. One with anything on this list goes from 2 week ban to permanent right away. You have one second chance. The other would be an escalation of chat restrictions, into ranked bans instead.

But those aren't riots rules. Riot gave a clear single ladder of punishments that will be followed even for "smaller" offenses such as this one.

Well apparently threatening to report someone in chat is considered an offense and this guy did it twice that game. I also don't understand this "banana" thing, is a Riot employee supposed to mention bananas when replying to support tickets?

I respectively disagree with you.

I believe a pattern of offensive behaviors led to others pushing the line. We have seen this line be crossed before with little or no gain.

It's pretty simple, don't be a Jerk and don't cheat. I Don't Understand why so many have a problem with this. Don't hit the enter key= no punishment here or in-game... A free game I might add.

they aren't bots, @tier1 support, they just use copy and paste replies, due to sheer volume and efficiency of how most (repeated) questions can be solved with simple streamlined answers.

getting it escalated will get you out of copy and paste replies.

I got a real reply from a ticket, I didn't bump I didn't complain. I got a real person who was helpful and polite back to me.

I gave as much information as I could and I was polite and the problem was fixed. Try to do these things in tickets and don't bump them and you may get a response quicker.

Can you imagine how many people file tickets each day ??

Dargan says 1000 or so per day, NA only.

I'd think the # was more, out of the 1,000 or so per day how many have the same question?

By playing this game and reading this board how many tickets are neutral or polite?

Ask yourself, if you had the job of answering the shear # of tickets, who would you most likely respond too ? Sorry if I offend anyone ! But human nature is just that and employee's are Human also.
