Disconnections in Promos

I understand that Riot may not want to encourage people to disconnect to avoid losses, but in every promo series I've played this season, I've had at least one player on my team disconnect in at least one game. Trying to get into Silver now, and in my first two promo games, played on a team of 4 against a team of 5 due to a rage quitting teammate.

This community already has some of the most toxic people I've encountered in what should be a fun setting, but I feel like players get punished for having the misfortune of being randomly placed with people who are not willing to work together, and instead quit when they aren't ahead, leaving their teammates high and dry.

At the very least, I don't think losses due to a disconnected player should count in your promos. Just pretend the game didn't happen as far as our records are concerned, and let us move on into another game.

Sounds abusable.

First, duo abuse. Team not going to win? Duo leaves so you can try again.

Second, general abuse. "Hey, we aren't going to win. Would someone leave so my promos aren't affected?"

Nope. Riot doesn't think you deserve to be promoted if you can't win a game with trolls, intentional feeders, or afks on your team. No lp refunds, no loss forgiveness during promos, everything working as intended.
