Loss of Honor?

All right, so I came back from a hiatus from the game for about 3-4 years, and picked up where I left off, playing like a noob on the rift. Everything's cool and right with the world, and hey, I'm even earning rewards from this nifty new honor thing they have going on. Sweet, so let's fast forward a month or so, to 3 weeks ish ago, when I logged on and got a message stating that I have lost all the honor I had collected, and that I won't be able to earn rewards until I get it back to where it was previously (Honor 2, for those wondering). I got no warning, no emails, nothing. I've been around since just after beta, and I'm not sure what/how this happened.

So, the questions I have here are,

  1. Why did I lose it in the first place?
  2. How long before I can start earning honor back?
  3. Was this a mistake? Or was there a warning that I just wasn't aware of? Ect
  4. What type of behaviors, outside of the summoner's code, might warrant me losing all my honor?
  5. And does this kind of stuff happen regularly? Or am I just an unlucky guy?

For now, that's all I'm wondering about. I'd love for a Red to look into this, if they could take the time, as I'm rather confused. Also, I am still getting honors from team mates, but I'm guessing that isn't going to make a difference.

First and foremost, if you didn't receive a punishment; like a chat restriction, you should contact Riot support.

My best guess outside of a recent punishment is that you had a prior restriction when you went on hiatus. When you returned, it took a moment for it to ping you. Which I would still suggest a support ticket as I feel that may be unfair if serving a punishment prior to new system.

.1. If no reform card when log in, contact support to find out. .2. Dependent on attitude in games. There is no magic number. .3.see 1. .4. Summoners code/ToU pretty much covers it in a broad sense. .5.Depends on why it happened. If it was for behavior, it is common. If it was a random his, than unlucky.

Toxic behaviour is what warrants it. If you are being toxic you can loose honor progress.

You will start gaining honor again after you show the system that your behaviour has improved. In other words you don't flame for few games.
