So i have seen a lot of players swearing in chat using their primary language (not english) so i was wondering, if you swear in another language can this get you banned or not?

I’d expect it to be held to the same standards as English. Swearing in general isn’t punishable, but hate speech and targeted insults is.

Swearing doesn't get you banned, but targeted and negative behavior itself does.

If the swear word was targetting at someone, aka used in a harassment / insulting manner, then yes, you will get punished for it.

Infact, you can get punished for that insult / harassment even without the swear words.

I agree with Kei143. It all depends on context except for some phrases that are targeted as hate speech or suggests inflicting self-harm. But if you find a fellow player that speaks the same language as you and it is alright to joke around, I don't think it matters. However, the pregame and postgame lobbies are different as most swear words are censored out.
