@Riot Lyte, looking for some closure (perma banned without reasonable cause?)

I'll keep this short and sweet. My account was perma-banned, however in the chat logs provided to me I am only given logs for a single match (not two, not three), and the worst thing said in the one game was calling my team silver. I'm not denying I was toxic, or have been toxic on the account in the past, however when I sent a support ticket I was given what looked like a generic automated response.

I'd just like a little closure. Am I to believe I was banned off a single game? If not, why wasn't I given more than just "Here's game 1!" as a reference point?

Lyte was afk for quite a while and quit not long ago, fyi.

In your email you may only get 1 game of logs, but when logging into the client you may get up to 3. Check the one from your client if you only saw the logs from your email.

If there is only 1 in your client, did you get off a 14 day ban very recently? Could you share the logs? If you need more information you can submit a Support Ticket, but you're not guaranteed 3 games of logs I believe.

I tried the support ticket method and got a very, very generic automated response. Had it been personalized I don't think I'd be bothering here. I'm not necessarily here to say "this was unjust!!" so much as I don't feel even Riot believes they have just cause if they can only provide a single game of logs (I've had chat restrictions on other accounts before that they provided 3 different games worth). So why I'm only given one for a PERMA BAN is peculiar to me. Like.. my toxicity must be pretty bad or happen pretty frequently for it to denote a perma, right? Then what's the issue? Show me multiple games worth.

I haven't seen your logs or know what prior punishments you had (or when), so I can't really come to my own conclusion on the situation. If you need to discuss it with Player Support more you can always continue the conversation in the ticket (if you press an issue they deem closed or be a complete dick they will close your ticket, though).

Because there are varying levels of "toxicity." Telling someone to kill themselves and that their families should die of cancer every other game and accusing your team of being silver once are not equal crimes that deserve equal punishments.

with the new system since aug 2015, there is no such thing as "is this chat worth a permaban?". Infact, everything has become "is this chat worthy of a punishment?"

There are 4 tiers to the punishment system.

10 game chat restrict
25 game chat restrict
14-day ban
permaban

when you get contineuously validly reported, you'll get punished and move up the punishment tier. Extreme cases as you have mentioned moves up the punishment tier aster and requires less validly reported games.

if you moved up the punishment tier very quickly throughout the past, the system flags you as "extremely toxic", and can give you a punishment with just 1 game.

the games you recieve are also "recently played" games. While we don't know what is defined as "recent", but from the wording, I suspect that if you haven't played any "recent" games, you won't be shown other games.
