Chat ban after chat ban for things like "just engage", "what are you guys doing?" "are you serious?"

2 games in a row today has led to me being suspended the first time ever. Is this bull an auto system? I got called a cun* a fg, sht while going 3-3-5. I swore one time after i teleported in, they sat right next to me refusing to fight then KS both and sit there while i die to the other. I said "after being 0 fuc*ing help you came and ksd", apparently that is worse then being called all those things above.

Literally all those are completely on defense of being obviously harassed. Too bad league doesnt show the other chat, god forbid someone proves them wrong.

Dude i agree with you, i'm not sure if riot only looks at your chat history in games when handing out instant bans because that is all you ever get when you receive a ban, is your part in it. Which is utterly unfair and unjustified. It's a competitive game, hell they're is even tournament LCS, WORLDS for example obv and they expect people to be nice and never utter a single bad word in the game? what the hell are we playing a rated G game? I agree with you and think riot should fucking stop catering to the soft-sensitive trolls in the game who feel like they have every right to cry and whine because they get a little few curse words thrown at them in AN ONLINE GAME ON THE INTERNET LOL THEY SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY SIGNED UP FOR WHEN PLAYING ONLINE RIGHT?

You agree to the terms of use when you play the game and use the boards. Any lawsuit you file will just be you throwing money at a lawyer for free (if you can even find one to take the case).

You seen to be ignoring us. REPORTS DO NOT CAUSE AUTOPUNISHMENT. PERIOD.

Reports cause the behavior to be reviewed. If the player actually broke the rules, they will be punished. If they didn't break the rules, the report is thrown out.

Did you know ... Only Red names are Rioters. Blue names are just community volunteers that have alot of knowledge about the system and voluteer to help? Blue/Purple/Green names aren't Rioters.

Also, if you report someone and no toxicity or disruptive behavior was found, the report gets discarded. AKA false reports don't get people punished.

Please. A bot is used for all of this. It can't detect offensive sarcasm, toxic behavior in other languages, misspelled slurs, afking, or intentionally feeding. If you curse too much, you get banned. If not, you are fine.

So, I should have to tolerate behaviour that wouldn't fly IRL (and that most people wouldn't be brave enough to or dare to engage in) just because we're on the Internet? A few pejoratives here and there are one thing (tho still not something I think is acceptable) but harassment, baiting and generally anti-Wheaton's Law behaviour are another.

(This is not aimed at anyone specifically.) As far as I can tell, most people who complain that the rules have become too PC are really just members of a group that have historically felt entitled to engage in behaviour that is no longer societally acceptable. Welcome to the multi-racial, multi-cultural, gender-equal, 21st Century!

And we aren't asking you to be nice, we'd just like you not to spend click time being mean - we'd rather you spent it trying to win. You are in control of you behaviour - if the other champions are out of bounds, report them and move on. (I also think people forget the game is rated 13+ and would you really berate an adolescent the way you would an adult?)

Yes I do bc that's how the system is coded

It takes 1 report to trigger the IFS to automatically review the game

1 report is the same as 9

That's literally how it works. Reports do not cause punishments. The system checks "was this player reported in this game at least once". If the answer is yes, the system reviews the chat logs for inappropriate behavior and if such behavior is present it issues a punishment.

You can be reported by all 9 players in every game you play and if you don't misbehave you'll never be punished. Likewise, extreme misbehavior such as that which you claim other players did will be punished with even only one report.

Let's have you understand the behavioral system a bit more. Think of it like a health bar (or tension meter) in music games. When you hit the note at an off beat, your tension meter increases. When you completely miss a note, the meter increases by alot. When you hit the note at good timings, it reduces the meter.

Riot's behavior system works the same way, as in we all have a toxicity meter attached to our accounts. When players are mildly toxic, it goes up a tad. When people use hate speech, it pretty much fills up the meter. of course, clean games reduce the meter.

It is possible for playerA to get punished and playerB not to, even though playerB was waaayyyyy more toxic . Let's say playerA started the game with the toxicity meter at 95% and playerB's at 35%. Ingame, playerB said some pretty nasty shit and playerA responds with some shit as well. After the game, playerA gains 10% toxicity and playerB gains 50%. Now playerA is at 105% toxicity and gets punished, whereas playerB is at 85%, and not punished in that specific game, even though playerB was found to be 5x more toxic than playerA in that game.

Also, mass reports don't do anything extra compared to 1 report. Take it from the guy who wrote the system.

That is the exact issue tho....auto ban systems shouldnt exist. Rainbow six saw how bad that went, league is just infallible apparently lol.

I didnt flame anyone for their rank, this is why the full logs need to be made available. The ADC called me shit who will never get out of bronze and i responded with higher rank than you lol. There is 0 context for anything in that game just special snowflake premades who get their feelings hurt.

Of course they're necessary. Literally every circumstance in real life that's evaluated is done so hinging heavily on context. When are you gonna realize that riot only excludes full chat logs because it makes their job easier ie saves them a shit ton of money paying people to actually review the games properly... oh wait.. you probably work there, nevermind.

Harassed people for their score, flaming them for their decisions, and was generally a jerk to people with things like "enjoy the loss" and calling for reports on them.

You even say in game that you know "talking back" with flaming is harassment - so why are you confused here?

I dont think you get what my issue is. I give 0 fuc*s that im banned this game has been going downhill for a while and is so PC now it is gross. My point is being told to go kill myself, fuck you, %%%%%%, %%%%, bitch, being harassed about my rank should NEVER get me banned for responding to those comments.

If you report those players, they will be punished. You will be punished for what you do. They will be punished for what they do.

It does not matter who is worse or who started it. If you respond and violate the rules, you are still breaking the rules.
