Penalized for Cussing, but not AT anyone?

So, I just got a 10-Game chat restriction from the instant response system. No sooner than we left the post-game screen, I got a notice to restart, and when I did I came back to a 10-Game restriction, the restart had to do with a patch rather than the restriction I believe.

Now, I wasn't cussing at anyone, just cussing in general. I see tips, ALL THE TIME, about how cussing, in general, doesn't quite seem like a big deal, but apparently, those tips are inaccurate?

Could you share your chat logs? I curse every so often, I know it in itself is not a bannable offense, nor problematic at all to most players. How you use it really is what's important, though of course not all language is acceptable either.

You can cuss, I do here and there. Been here since 2009, I haven't been punished for cussing ever. So there's you're missing or leaving out. Chat logs are the best way to get any information from the board.
