Riot fucks up BIG TIME

Riot, you really fuck up the whole penalty system big big big time.

My account just got banned... permanently... and why... only because i picked soraka top (did 1. blood, died after gank, but did an okay game) and my enemy top just started to rant against me. Like how everyone in my team must hate me and that they all will report me because i picked soraka top. at this point noone in my team said anything against me. but he kept on. i ignored it. then out of the blue my teammate mid started to insult me that i am trash. this went on and on ... tryn and annie kept on insulting me, annie in normal chat, tryn in all chat. we lost the game, our supp and i asked everyone to report annie for her constant verbal abuses. then tryn says he will report me because he feels a soraka top must be reported generally..... annie of course insulted me again and said i should be reported. lux intervened and said annie should be reported because she insulted her too... then tryn decides to report both, annie and me... and it seems some people did the same. and because of this fuckin bullshit i got my account permanently banned... so fuckin tell me riot... how on fuckin earth is your shit braindead fuckin ass report system working, if 2 or 3 people decide to report you just because they feel like.

i didn't use ONE swear word. and my account gets banned... really... this is so fuckin stupid. you really want every player to mute everyone right from the start or what. riot this fuckin bullshit can't be. Yes, this just happened right now and i am using cursewords at this moment. because i am sick of it. you get insulted and trolled by premades, you tell the enemy to report them for insult after game and then they lie on chat that you were insulting and so on, the rest of the team doesn't say anything and after the game you get 2 reports from the premades and maybe one or two from the enemy because they believe the 2 premades... and you get your chatban... really riot.... this can't happen and shouldn't ... fuckin enable ingame voice chat or something like this.... like dota does...

First off, it's worth knowing that the number of reports in a single game doesn't matter: all it takes is one report to flag a game, and any past that are meaningless.

That said, a permanent ban out of the blue for a nontoxic game basically NEVER happens.

Do you have your chat logs to share? Had your account received any sort of behavioral punishment before?

Find it very hard to believe you were randomly permabanned, that doesnt just happen. You had to have had committed several infractions before this happens.

Using swear words doesn't get you in trouble. Insulting others in the game can get you in trouble, though, as can using words that are classified as hate speech.

This may be another instance of a Support Nunu style issue where Riot has simply locked your account until you contacted them. Likely multiple people in that game reported that while you weren't trolling/feeding, something about your playstyle made the game less fun for them. Riot likely wants to talk to you about that so you can improve, still play your off-meta pick (and do great at it), but still enable the other 9 people in the game to have fun as well.

Note that in the above case, you wouldn't be given chat logs, just saying "has been indefinitely/permanently suspended" and/or "for intentional feeding/trolling" depending on what the Rioter who placed the ban put. They're also cracking down on those two things, so maybe flagged you as a false positive (too many cases not enough manpower). Eitherway:

Contact Player support and ask them why you got banned - they can provide information/talk to you about it. If it's a case like above, just discuss it with them and they'll likely reduce/eliminate the ban.
