I was in a Bots game (beginner) and someone called me names for joining "his" lane and I might've said some things. Someone ally reported me and the person. I was wondering what the consequences are to this.
In addition to what others have said:
Put some time into learning the roles within the metagame and how to fulfill them. That will help you avoid stuff like this in the future. It's impossible for me to know how things went down in the game you're referring to, but generally speaking, lane roles are sacred and interfering with another person's role is disastrous to the game effort and bordering on trolling. Making sure that everybody's role is established and respected goes a long way to reducing toxicity on all fronts, even in bots games.
I wouldn't worry about swearing. However, if you were insulting another player, that would be considered toxic behavior. One game normally won't be an issue, but if you continue it over multiple games, you could receive punishment. If you said something that could be considered racist or homophobic, it could be a problem for you. That kind of thing can escalate punishment.
Depends. In general, any sort of offensive language aimed at anyone else is frowned upon, as is arguing with other players in game.
Swearing at others can earn Chat Restrictions and/or 1+ Punishment tier advancement. high frequency of doing so will tend to elevate the punishment to higher tiers of penalty faster.
Offensive slurs/Hate Speech however, start at least at a 14 day Suspension from the game

Swearing at someone else? Varies, depending on how often, how severe, previous punishments, etc.

do not chat. this is the best advice youll ever get from a fellow new player. very little can be said and not get a punishment.
well as youll see soon the game is retarded until you get the unlocks which will take you around 2000 games easily over 1000 hope you enjoy it more then i did. after you hit 30 people stop being nice to you even though you are still new.

if you call someone a fucking retard you might get punished if you insult the champ/item/teamfight that is completely in your right.
