Being a prick the whole game? Riot likes to ignore any context for chat so if you harass people you will get in trouble.

I'd have to agree. Nothing you said threatened people, however, you did constantly harass your teammates with quotes such as nice throw, uninstall, or calling them useless.

I know league can get frustrating at times, but my policy is to never really type in game. This allows you to focus on your own gameplay. Moreover, people do have bad games, and telling them they should uninstall or are useless isn't going to make them feel better.

Also, don't spend time telling others to report (so and so)... 1 report = 9 reports so your report will be enough to get the system to scan chat and take action if needed. Also, mocking your teammates or anyone in general saying "enjoy your ban" could lead to a punishment so just be careful.

The punishment system is completely broken, Riot bans players who have played this game for 5+ years, because once in a while people lose their cool which is completely human, they want players to sit there like robots and just click and take Ls and ignore trolls... I’m starting to believe Riot owns these 3rd party companies that sells accounts.. I will say that 50% of players have been banned at least once. Whatever number they feed these forums is a lie. And another thing, go watch a twitch player that’s popular play the game, they curse on live game play calling teammates trash/garbage exposing their names LIVE on twitch and Riot still backs them up! What is the difference? These players have thousands of viewers and they can be toxic on twitch but just because they don’t type it it’s okay... and now the sheep will come and defend riot which is a tyrant of a company.

If someone does not like a streamer they just leave the channel, you don't have that option in a game.

No, the difference is they say it out loud. Riot can't punish me for yelling in my room, "Oh MY GOD TACTICX STOP FEEDING YOU (insert slur here) REEEE"

but they can if I call you a racial slur in chat.
