queueing as 5 man, obviously get 5 man against us. they queue 3 jg, raka, and talon. they steal first camp and immediately start spamming "?" "?" "?" "11 cs" "11 cs" etc. banter with them in all chat. we start to get even in game, i spam "?" "?" "?". they get mad, start flame. continue spamming "?" "?" to them. they start talking in all chat "why are you flame". continue giving them the classic "?" "?" "?". they report, i don't bc competitive banter. i get chat restrict. good job riot, you're still a garbage company ;D

edit: tl;dr: don't type in all chat if you don't want any punishment. "TIP: banter is fine. flaming? not so much" classic riot.

There comes a point when it stops being banter and starts being pointless spam. The real TL;DR would be something like this:

Wasn't there another post about being banned for banter then he posted his chat logs and he was insulting all his teammates, lmao. Well when you deny to post logs you are guilty, gg sir.

Similar thing happened to me, except another guy started flaming me because I was having a bad game and I didn't gank him when HE expected me to gank and instead of me just muting him or ignoring him, I fed into it because he started griefing me and taking my camps early game (which somehow isn't a punishable offense). I told him to fuck off twice, and that I'm not gonna listen to his ignorant ass. That managed to get me chat restricted. I shouldn't have given into his ignorance, but Jesus I'm so tired of people flaming everyone all the time. I'm in Silver II, working on 1. I've been climbing nonstop the past couple weeks and I'm finally working my way out of ELO Hell. I'm getting so fed up with this auto-filter punish program.
