Honor

I had a huge problem with being toxic/negative for a long time, ive fixed this problem of mine, but the amount of time ive had to put back in to just get my honor up is un fair. I took a break for 3-4 months but other then that ive been playing consistently every day playing 3-4 games, getting on average 10-15 honors from non premades. And im at checkpoint 1 of 3 to get back to level 2, the STARTING point of honor. I get that there needs to be repercussions so players will avoid being toxic but this is insanely ridiculous. Its taken me over a year to get not even back to the starting point. Riot, give us a break please. I understand that i f***** up but for it to take this much play time to just go back to starting honor is insane and honestly pretty dumb imo. It shouldnt take anyone longer than a month of consistent honors and playtime to revert there honor back to the start (LVL 2).

I agree friend the penalty is too steep especially if you can show a change in behavior. Not to mention that it only takes one bad day to get chat banned and honor level 0.

Just do what I did. Get a friend and play twisted treeline bots. End quickly and then honor the other person. Assuming they honor one of you, everyone gets honor progress. And twisted treeline games are really fast so I went from not leveling up after 6 months to leveling up back to honor 2 in a week

That's very commendable change of attitude, I hardly ever thought that honor system could change players attitude but luckily seem to work.

I'm just trying to understand the situation

You are telling that it took you over a year, how much did it take to change your attitude and for how long you've been toxic/negative.

How much do you think toxic/negative attitude can influence other players game and fun

If the punishment was softer would you had the same change?

What time span do you think would be good to get back to honor 2

Would you take secondary routes to get honor faster in "semi illicit" ways? (aka premade match with friends with the purpose of exchanging honor)

Personal experience I really don't remember when i started to get the first check point in H2 but i can say that it took me a life to get to H3 I have to think that it's just way longer than the past seasons, for both Honored or dishonored players

If the system H1 to H2 to H3... etc need the same amount (or increasing) of honor by tier there are no much way out from your aforementioned condition unless we want to give advantage to heavily reported players.

Keep on the good path and take it as a lesson for the livers that such kind of negative attitude made rot and for the unpleasant experience that created

I believe that your change and gain of a more responsible attitude is a way much greater gain that any Honor tier

Take care
