Unfair Ban

I feel I received an unfair ban for this situation. I was in a premade with friends, just having fun, doing our thing, when one of us started joking around. The game was fine, no toxicity between the two teams, when after I receive an immediate ban for 2 weeks without warning for the evidence below, that doesn't even differentiate between all and in team chat. I have never been banned before, never received warning that I was toxic, no chat bans, I'm always one of the most honorable players on my team with 2+ honors every game, and a dedicated player. I'd like to know why I got a 2 week ban without warning for a 1 game offense against a premade when I have no prior behavior of being toxic nor received any warning that perhaps my trolling might have been going overboard. I've been playing the game for years, reached honor level 5 far sooner than other players last season, and have never received warnings, or a chat ban in my life. I'm a dedicated player and was a believer in the tribunal, but when proof of toxic players were not getting banned, and I receiving this unfair one, makes me want to quit. It's absolutely ridiculous. I've spent so much time and money on riot only for this to happen out of the blue. Very minimal was in all chat, without the intent of being rude to them. The chat log doesn't even show what parts were said in all. The majority was spoken to my friends. And even then, can a 4 man premade really justify a 2 week ban against me, without any other offenses?

It's my first ban, so I thought the reform card was very simply the first screen that popped up showing immediate chat logs, which was what I posted. Thank you. I also don't see why this wouldn't just be a chat restriction for a minimal, first time offense against a tilted premade.

Get over it mate, people don't tolerate Nazis in NA and EU culture. They're representative of very dark and despicable times, and glorifying them or taking pride in acting like one is not a good choice to make. Remember all the Nazi-punching that happened in the USA this past year? Yeah, that's because Nazis are scum and aren't tolerated here.

The level of hatred they propagate inherently with their special brand of aryan nationalism is completely unacceptable. You can't just make bad shit like hatred or murder a part of your religion/beliefs/political movement and expect to be allowed to practice it in the world.

An American icon is someone who represents American values. In culture and media, it doesn't matter if something is fake as long as the ideas it represents live on in all of the people who consume that culture and media.

hey, i've got a few friends who like communism, not because what they have done but of their ideals, same thing could be for the hitler guy, he might have wanted to do the most right he could, he just went on the unusual way

i still don't like that you can get banned for this since you actually didn't insult anyone

if i say "Hail Typhoon" will a persone that got his family killed by a typhoon feel offended and report me? And i'll be banned because "The typhoon is bad so you can't be on its side"

On another side, i'm joking, i'm just making these stuff up. I'm a lazy guy and i don't care at all about what happens in the whole world.

PS: I think it's because i started reading TwD and there's a lot of thinking in there to understand if something is good or bad, and i also have a phylosophy test tomorrow, wish me luck!

I don't really have any beef with communism. Theoretically it works, and the groundwork for it is certainly valid. It's just that people themselves are selfish and always ruin communism when it is put into practice.

It is incredibly offensive. Being terribly offensive is punishable as much as any form of insults.

It's not the same, 'seig heil' and 'for hitler' are phrases with historical significance. They express support for a group and for ideals which were responsible for one of the worst genocides in human history. Typhoons may have killed many people, but there is no historical context of people hailing them, so it's less offensive.

You sound like some political philosophy majors I knew back in college. Do the world a favor and put your clever brain to good use. Don't waste yourself away playing devils advocate and picking silly arguments over irrelevant points. Don't waste it like some of the idiots I knew back in college who would rather troll than do anything valuable. You're a smart individual, as can be seen from your reasoning.

Yes it's important to have an understanding of people who disagree with you. It's the whole point of democracy. Discussion... meeting out the bad ideas and debating till we come to a consensus on the best course of action or the best way to govern. One of the scariest things today is the liberal culture of emotion over logic. They shout people down who disagree with them, and it allows alt right groups to gain some ground just based on the fact that nobody has a serious debate with them to expose how horrible their ideas are. If we would just allow Nazis a public forum (mind you, in a league game is NOT an appropriate public forum), we could remind people why it's such a bad thing and their following would be educated and most likely change their views. Of course there are those so unintelligent and stubborn, that they will never change their views, but that's a small minority.

OK, I will assume for an instant that you are not a complete asshole, and that you really don't know what to answer.

But really, it's simple: you can't extend tolerance to intolerant people. Even if you value tolerance, free speech, open mind, blablabla, you can't allow people who strive for exclusion, single discourse and dogma to benefit from that tolerance. If you do that, the value you claim to defend is actually killed by those people you let abuse it.

Im usually against people being total dicks in chat, but i think this is taking it a lil bit too far. From the chat it seems kinda obvious its more of a joke than the person "behaving like a literal nazi". Its one thing to say that he shouldnt have used it even if jokingly (even if thats just an opinion), and another to say he was behaving like a literal nazi. That lessens what a real nazi is, by far.

Since there was no racist comments, I do not see how they can assume that comment was racist. For all we know, hitler could be the name of this guys dog. For real. These ridiculous bans need to stop.

Because you are being defensive and uptight about a small joke that was made, and demanding everyone believe in the same rationale that you do. And unless this is a joke too.... Rito DOES ban people left and right for making suicide joke (e.g. kys).... It will earn you a straight 14-day ban on first offense bypassing chat restriction as well.

That is not true. I have reported, and screenshotted people telling me, or friends, to kill themselves and other hateful comments. And my ONE report did not issue a ban. The whole basis of this post is the fact that I was unfairly banned.

Reports don't stack, it wouldn't have mattered if you were 9x reported or just 1x. It would have triggered a review just the same.

So get that idea out of your head that somehow ganging up on someone to report them does anything to alter the likelihood of them being punished.

Also nice lie about "minimal was in all chat." Nobody here will trust anything you have to say anymore.

Also that is whataboutism. You did something wrong. Deal with it. Other peoples' behavior is irrelevant to your punishment, because you are judged for your own behavior, not theirs.

You went off on a tangent about 4 lines you said as a 'joke.'

And all of that aside, you're still not getting it. It's not a simple joke. Not with a topic like that.

  1. Simple jokes are things like puns, one-liners, and basic shit like, "three dudes are in an airplane..."

  2. Just judging from the context and timestamps of when you said things, it's pretty clear you were bragging at least some of the time. Lay off the 'fake news' BS claiming, "I was just joking."

Where is the joke though? You keep saying it was a joke. Explain it to me, because I clearly don't get it. It doesn't start with "Hitler walked into a bar.." or anything. You literally just randomly yelled out profane and racist slurs. Where is the joke?
