Well, they may not be wrong about winning. Had a game where we were down 6-22 with bot the only lane that won. We did FF vote and it was no. We played, the 
d/ced from the enemy team and we won the now 5v4. Things happen, guaranteed lose isn't a thing unless you give up. The odds may be against you but you can in theory, win.
