RIOT'S CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE 100 MILLION PLAYERS IS COMPLETE BS - DONT BELIEVE THIS LIE

I've now got my 2nd account permanently banned. This time with no prior warning. I am toxic at times yes, but I've invested money in these accounts and I feel like I should have some leverage before I just got frauded and taken everything away from me.

I've lost all faith in this company. It's a complete scam and will ruin what could have been great.

I'm certain that the 100 million players is including the hundreds of thousands of accounts that they've banned permanently. Forcing players to start new accounts. Not to mention the fact that most players have multiple accounts anyways. Tired of this scam.

No one cares how much money you spent. Nor is it fraud.

It is not a scam. You simply got what you deserved. AKA, a ban for being toxic.

And hardly. Only around 0.0006% of players get permanent bans. Get over it.

Its a bit misleading....they said they have 100 million "active" accounts......not 100 million players.

Spending money doesn't mean a god dam thing when it comes to punishment. You will get the same no matter how much money you spend.

And since you're getting accounts permabanned. Go for the record and beat the number Tyler1 has. If you are toxic that shouldn't be that hard.

only a tiny bit of 100 million is banned accounts. a large % of it is bot accounts though.

Just because you spent money on the game doesn't mean that you get immunity or leniency on the rules. Everyone is held to the same standard regardless of whether they spend money on the game or not. If you truly valued your accounts then you should have thought of that before you did stuff that you knew would just get you in trouble. I fail to see how Riot is running a scam operation by upholding the rules that they've set in place. As for punishments, from the Instant Feedback System FAQ:

PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH: First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction Third Offense: Two Week Suspension Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

In addition to this, lower leveled accounts are judged more harshly than higher leveled accounts are to prevent and discourage people from trolling on their smurf accounts when their main accounts get punished.

I wonder how many of the people commenting on here and voting on these comments work for Riot

It's not including banned accounts. It does include smurfs though. The real number is probably closer to 10 or 20 million.

Don't believe the lies. It's fraud. I paid for something only to be have it stripped away at their discretion with no appeal.
