Why in the blue actual fuck was he given a seven day ban for that?

FEK is not policed by Riot. You should take it up with the FEK moderators if you have a problem with someone's avatar.

Passive aggressive? I'm trying to tell you why you have no valid argument here.

  1. Gif in question is acceptable by FEK avatar standards
  2. Gif in question is not acceptable by LoL forum standards

While their standards may overlap, they are not the same. The moderators and the rules are different. FEK avatars are not seen by the forum and are not subject to the same rules.

FEK avatars are handled through FEK (and assigned by the FEK moderators now by request), which is not a LoL boards official application, it's a mod. None of it is Riot officially (whether a Rioter works on it or not).

I have posted it a few times. Once I had been banned for 1 day from it, yet the other 3-4 are still in the threads I posted this gif in.

I have seen the image in question be posted several times on the Boards in the past, and I don't ever remember said posts being deleted, or punishments being handed out to the people that have posted the image.

This is my personal recollection.

The post in question has been undeleted and the warning nullified. After review, it was deemed the image posted is not considered mature content under our current guidelines in and of itself.

So there are a couple things to clear up here. To start, Norscout didn't receive a ban. The messaging received was incorrect; it was just a warning that was sent.

As for the image itself, I'm having it reviewed. I don't know that it's worth removing unless there's an inappropriate context to it, which wasn't the case here that I can see.

Finally, as others have said, FEK is not part of the Boards. If you use FEK and see an avatar constantly, that doesn't mean we're looking at it constantly. Mods may occasionally check FEK, but it doesn't mean we're actively monitoring it. That being said, we do keep an active eye on its development for features that can be used to evade Boards rules. If something suddenly becomes an issue, or players start using its features in a way that breaks the rules here, we'll look into changing our moderation stance in regards to it.

if the thread is big enough they wont actively look for bad content to ban

which is why you can get away with posting bannable material in the fek thread

but i have seen the gif you are talking about and it has been posted several times it doesnt show nipples so i dont see why they would ban him in the first place
