seriously, in ranked we lost because someone went GAREN SUPPORT, okay seriously I can somewhat understand brand with a lot of dmg and burst and things like this but seriously getting pissed that everyone is a support now a days its disgusting, like what even is this anymore its like elo hell everywhere.

I've had a lot of success with him in that role. Can't play him into a lot of bot comps but he can be very effective, especially vs. an ezreal.
MrSuperCat2 votesThere is no reason to play garen supp. You lose your w passive, your e can mybe zone??? and your q silence doesn't offer much. His saving grace though is his ultimate, EXECUTION moves are great for setting up kills.

It depends on the match up. But his q alone is a nightmare for some bot comps. and his e should zone them off you if he's doing it right.

His E requires him to stick and it shoves hard. His W is defenses for himself and needs to be stacked by cs'ing which he can't do. His R is straight damage. His passive does nothing for anyone but himself. Garen has absolutely ZERO qualities that allow him to support anyone. To say so is to be Bronze.
