League of legends. Started in 2009, wasn't recognized in the world of MMOs for some time. But when it was, it exploded. Players from around the world seen how much fun this game was, and how much potential it held. Over time the game grew into something bigger then 'just a game', but into a ever expanding community! The league community was awesome, but as time went on the community turned into a 'toxic state'. To some point, it is still a very toxic community. Individuals will curse and flame others for not knowing how to play the game, or playing badly. I cant seem to find a game lately where other players will welcome you with open arms. You will either get praised, or flamed. I am NOT saying the entire community is 'haters', but a lot of player simply are not nice, and i am sick of it. I'm getting to the point where playing league isn't worth logging on to be flamed. this is a video that will show my feelings for the game. I want to see players SIMPLY being nice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxAabW7JfTQ

Your confusing the league community with a society with access to a ( realistically ) punishment free outlet to vent and get creatively hurtful. People like to win, people want to lash out when they perceive that someone else made them lose. or maybe they just like to see your reaction. Either way, its up to you to get over it because the reality is that they already have. You chose to be unhappy over something someone types out and expect them to be punished for it? garbage. (theoretically) we put people in jail to mitigate a risk to society; someone being mean isnt really a risk to you in anyway shape or form especially when there is 0 personal connection to said offender. If someone is verbally making you unhappy and you chose not to mute them then you are effectively making yourself unhappy.
