Game 1 said about 4 bad things that i said jokingly here and got perma banned for that, why is it even possibly to be banned for toxicity... i get feeding but this is just dumb. k thanks. fun game. the poll just for curiosity

His point is that it isn't helping the situation at all. Muting is the best way to defend yourself, but responding with negativity instead just makes it worse so isn't really a defense at all.

i understand that but i'm just saying that riot has no tolerance for something that is very common in this game and toxic chat shouldn't be bannable because other can mute you too.

Hate speech really is not common, you get banned very easily for it and the community is almost unanimously against its use for any reason.

I get the argument to "just mute me", but by the time someone is forced to do that you've already become a problem; muting is to prevent further chat abuse, not justify it. It isn't and shouldn't be someone else's responsibility to control your chat, and it's a pain when you have to Mute because it cuts off a useful form of communication that may have otherwise benefited the team.

Everybody is a little toxic sometimes, just not to the point of using those kind of offensive slurs. Anyone that is regularly toxic will get escalated up the punishment tiers, and extremely toxic people can skip multiple tiers.

Intentional feeding is punishable by a ban even just for a single game, but we have to keep in mind that not all feeding is intentional; everybody has bad games, either they are just not playing at their best or maybe they are just unlucky or up against a superior opponent and getting camped. It can be incredibly difficult or impossible to determine the case, which is why a lot of inting goes unpunished. Don't mistake this for me claiming the system is as good as it will get, I want it to improve just as much as you do.

If you want "protection" you mute these players and move on. But self entitled people like you have to argue about everything sadly. And that just makes things worse.

You get Suspended/banned for making negative experiences for others in game. You demonstrated a pretty extreme form of harassment, hate speech, and they punish hate speech pretty heavily.

Yea here is the thing you can mute someone and guess what it stops, know what you can't mute, trolls and intentional feeders. I don't mean the ones just having a bad game, i mean the ones that start off running under tower, or saying gg I'm going to make you all lose. Then they get away with it while their angry team mates get the bans now that shit should be fixed.

Regardless, you're held accountable for your own behavior. Heaping toxic chat onto an inter just means you'll have a feeder and some other player ranting during the game.

Only the last sentence should is toxic, and it shouldn't be bannable. Calling someone trash is toxic but it's minor. If we take the big picture then yeah he deserves his ban.
