Queue Timers

I'm sick of waiting 30 mins to play a game when I have to dodge stuff like Tristana jungle, Malphite adc, or the Aurelion top lane. I think the queue timer should be maxed at 5 minutes and/or I should be able to use the practice tool while I wait off the timer at the very least. I already lose LP for dodging, but I have to wait 30 minutes too. I am requesting that something be done, because this leaver buster crap is broken. Why Should I be penalized because people enjoy being brain dead infants with no clue how to play the game. At this rate riot is basically saying you might as well just willfully play an automatic loss or wait an inordinate amount of time. Games are supposed to be enjoyable not, go to play first game of the day, get paired with idiots, sorry looks like you have to wait 30 mins. Here's a suggestion if you're gonna make me wait 30 mins incorporate a mini-game that increases game knowledge or some shit that I can do i.e. multiple choice. Give them a list of champions and ask them to define what role the champion is best suited for i.e. Tristana adc. I'm sick of queuing wondering if I'm going to get a ad tank Annie, then not be able to play the game at all because someone else decides they gonna screw somebody over today. I don't care what you do but fix it.

OK so now I'm writing again because I just had to dodge my 3rd idiotic team today, with a Garen jungle. So just throwing this out there Garen is a useless jungle with no real ganking potential. I don't know how many timers I can get on queue before I get perma banned but at this rate by the end of the day I will have found enough probably. How do you expect me to climb Riot when I spend more time waiting off timers than actually playing the game, because people don't use their brains or have one. To be honest at this point I can't tell the difference. I win 9/10 of my provisionals, you place me in Bronze V.

Here's what I learned in Bronze:

  1. Ban Yasuo regardless... 9/10 times is garbage
  2. If you don't dodge stupid picks, it's equivalent to dropping the soap (You know what's about to happen)
  3. After you make it past champ select 50% chance your team is garbage anyways

I agree! I had a game with a Galio adc and Vik support and i did not dodge because it would put me in 30 min Q. Also had a Yas/Malph bot which is dodgable for sure in silver but we ended up winning suprisingly. I went 17/4/3 Renekton though....

It gets better when you're out of Bronze... I know that's not much comfort, but it's true. I'm currently high Silver and virtually never see troll/massively off-meta picks like that. Certainly not enough to ever have more than the base 5-minute wait.

If I were in your position, I might play these games out. Aurelion Sol, for example, is a robust enough champ to see play in multiple roles, and there's a good degree of interchangeability between top and mid lane champs. Trist jungle actually was seeing some decent play by in high ELO late last year. I dunno about Malphite ADC, but shit, you can't win them all.
