10 day chat restriction?

So this Malphite top was upset that I changed my original plan of him saving his TP for Infernal just in case, but he was pushed in and low from fighting the other top laner. I told him to just back and tp top (so he can get xp and their top B'd and TP'd as well." He said "muted" to me and asked me "do you want me to int?" Of course I do not want then but I told him I will report that, and he told me to "stfu" and he proceeded to feed top then mid and so on. My next game I had chat restrictions. I wish the other part of the conversation was shown but this restriction is uncalled for. I was only trying to help the team, talk strats, and I get reported? So I can not communicate with the team with my good intentions.

Saying that you'll report someone and asking other people to report someone is both unnecessary for the system to function and only serves to aggravate someone.

If you're going to report someone for their behavior, just report them.

a single report does make a difference but a lot of players just exit out without reports. Thanks to the team actually reporting, I got a notification saying that they verified it and he was punished.

Well typing so much in a game that I can not FF because he was trolling and our Jinx wanted to practice CS and Orb Walk kind of left me with nothing else to do. My jg was warded by the enemy and camps taken by troll malph and enemy. Under leveled, but we still got the second infernal because zoe and i tried out best still. My typing was only to make sure that the troll got punished, even though I got the chat restrictions I believe it is worth logging in and getting the notification that he has been punished. You can call it toxic if you want that i went all in trying to get someone who is truly toxic to the community punished, I think it is a necessary "evil" on my part if it means removing that piece of garbage, if you want that on your team go ahead stay silent. I'd rather convince people to mass report the guy, and it worked in this case. I will take a slap on the wrist in return.

And the L2p i said after what he has said to me to "stfu you troll" for changing the game plan, i told him to learn to play. Which is a true thing, most people go in and cant understand that if they have a single play style and never change a build, or play according to that individual match will bring the team down. He got reported and I just got a verification from it. But yea ill take an instant chat restriction if it means the Inter who got salty cuz I was helping him by giving him the tip to not waste xp and actually tp back top got punished im happy. Called him a kid, cuz he was acting like one. team agreed. Other 3 on my side. And i said learn to play cuz he had no clue.

See, here's the deal: It doesn't matter what other people say. The context doesn't matter. At all. If whatever you write, taken out of context, is inappropriate or offensive or negative, you're responsible for it and should and will get punished for it. Just like you did. It also doesn't matter how many people are on your side. If you rob a bank with 4 buddies, the judge won't care if you tell him: "But my 4 guys here were on my side, doesn't that count for anything?"

You seem to confuse the situation, I'm not the one who is offended. I'm not the op. I'm not saying I'm bothered by what people say. I'm simply stating what Riot considers harassment, according to the rules.

One thing you should learn from this is to not type so much. say ur insult and leave it. don't reply. if you do reply don't cuss. Don't ask for reports lmao. Don't call them kid either. legit it the only way you can not get chat restricted rip.

"say your insult and leave" to "don't call them kid" I have said 0 insults unless you call that an insult then wow. Don't cuss good tip for someone who hasn't in chat or in games. And as hard as I tried with my other laners like zoe mid, he roamed mid to feed as well. So I chose to type as much as I did and ask for reports, which actually worked out because I got a notification that they have been punished. My entire team agreed with me. He was the one cussing, insulting, feeding, and I get chat restricted for calling someone childish "kid"? Yea I got punished, but the point of the post is to show that intentionally feeding and truly toxic players don't get punished enough or at all at times, and the system is crap. Hard to not type when you try and play regardless of his toxicity but it was a 6v4 he screwed the whole team.

You should've stopped talking when Malphite reacted badly for your "you should B and TP".

I mean, he souldn't have reacted like that but obviously he did because he was tilted, maybe due to a lose streak or a bad day, we don't know and frankly we couldn't care less. Point is, you basically asked him to do feed in order to report him and he took that as a taunt. In order to chill, you should've stopped and maybe the situation would've come back to normal.

Some people are just tilted and you just can't do anything about it, just acknowledge that they don't want to communicate, even tho I'm not blaming you for trying, but for feeding his troll behavior.

Also, yes, saying "reported" and calling for report is considered toxic.
