For once and for all: What are the rules on getting a permanently banned account unbanned

Hey,

I literally just copped a perm for flaming some kids

I know that it's highly unlikely that my account will get unbanned but I would just like to clear up the rules a bit. I'm getting a few mixed messages reading what I think are shitposts, nonconstructive comments, and people who are just plain old stupid

Is it possible for a permanently banned account to be unbanned ^Does the ban HAVE to be errant for it to be revoked, or can a human deem the flame 'within acceptable boundaries'

I'll cop a ban on the chin if I have to, but god damn I miss my Dark Star Thresh already.

Edit: How long does it take to unlock honor level after a chat restriction ban? A buddy of mine wants to know.

yes

here's what you do:

you bury a container of ritual items, including a photograph of the summoner you wish unbanned, graveyard dirt (signifying your toxic demeanor), a black cat bone (signifying your flaming ), and yarrow (signifying the wish to change your evil ways) at the center of a crossroads at midnight on the night before the new season starts and then you wait for about an hour for Phreak to show up in a limo and personally unblock your account all the while moving to the rythm of Despacito while chanting the lyrics in a cultist manner, occasionally raising your hands towards the moon and yelling "Faker! Thy will be done!"

i know it sounds a bit extreme but trust me on this!

In general, a ban has to be in error to be revoked. On very rare occasions (and with sufficient context and a decent behavior history), a Player Support specialist can downgrade bans (but not entirely remove a deserved ban, to my knowledge). There is not, however, an "acceptable boundary" for flaming.

I'm afraid I don't know the hard answer to this one. Apologies.

Bans are only revoked if Riot's made a mistake or the IFS has made a mistake.

In your case, your chances of getting your banned revoked are practically zero because you likely: 1. had a ban before, and 2. your behavior was legitimately unwarranted.

Nothing djinn said is incorrect. My curiosities as to if it's worth your time to try and get it removed lies in the logs. Were you calling for things like KYS constantly?
