He trolled our game because he didn't get Yasuo. He went yi mid, but instead of going mid he followed yasuo around all game, wouldnt go to his lane, told their team to report all of us for "Harassment". I'm going to report him for inting, verbal abuse and negative attitude.

Riot can still do manual reviews, take time to write a report when reporting someone for something outside language

Unless he was calling everyone everything in the book, it's not going to do anything. Riot's filter doesn't actually see behavior as toxic unless the person is being an asshole in chat.

Sorry.

If he had no prior reports, then it's not likely that he will be punished based on the single report. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that he won't ever be punished for this behavior. Reports don't disappear. They are filed into the system, and when a player accumulates enough of them, they reach a punishment threshold, and are given a punishment. There are four tiers of punishment.

  1. 10 game chat restriction
  2. 25 game chat restriction
  3. 14 day temporary suspension
  4. permanent suspension

When the system decides a player is ready for punishment, they are moved up to the next tier. So, if he had not been punished before, or had no prior reports, it may take a couple more before he's given a punishment for this game in combination with other games. But if he does this sort of thing often, then he will likely be punished sooner, rather than later. And that sort of griefing, assisting the enemy team, and harassment is definitely something that will catch up with him. (For future reference - calling for reports is now considered a form of harassment, and is reportable, and a very easy way for someone who is trolling to be caught by the automated system.)
