i received a 14 day ban in early October. i've played every day receiving honors here and there but am still at lvl 0 after 100-200 games . i now have 21 crates and 0 keys. can't earn keys when honors at 0. how long does it take to get to level 1 or recover from this dishonorable status. I've been playing league since season 1 and its disheartening to see treatment like this to a veteran player
Violet Fields1 votesI'm pretty sure the lower your honor level is the longer it takes for you to level up. I've noticed this when I was honor level 2 at the start of this whole honor thing. It took people like 2-3 months to get honor level 3 and then honor level 4 only took half a month for me and then honor level 5 didn't even take me a week to get.

OnlyYouCanHearMe1 votesIt does take longer the lower you dropped. Has the honor insignia on your profile unlocked? When your punishment is first issued, they place a lock on your honor and you are unable to earn honor for a period of time that varies depending on the punishment. Once you've served your punishment, and begin to play positive/neutral games, the system registers that, and will unlock your honor insignia and allow you to begin to earn honor again. Until that honor is unlocked, none of the honors that you received in matches actually counted towards level 1. Once it's unlocked, any honors you receive will count towards your honor level 1, but any reports that you receive can actually slow down how long it takes for it to be unlocked.
Aloy1 votesthe insignia is unlocked. it unlocked like 2 months ago. i dont get reported often. its just that my account is so old that all the offenses stacked over time.
Chermorg1 votesOffenses don't count against your honor aside from lowering it immediately. The only thing that will slow your progress is being validly reported. There is no way for you to know if you are being validly reported or not - you may think your behavior has improved but if it has not you may not know it until you are punished again.

OnlyYouCanHearMe1 votesThe age of an account doesn't actually matter when it comes to how the Honor system works. You can read about it here on the Honor FAQ page but basically, it's all based on whether or not you are playing clean/positive games. If you're being reported semi-regularly, that is likely what is slowly down your progression back up to Honor level 1. Even if they aren't enough to actually get you issued a punishment, they can end up halting your honor gain.
