last punishment i've got was a 2 week ban a couple years ago. i am aware that the next ban after a 2 week is a perma.
I'm just curious, after 2 years of not being punished did I decay down to '0 strikes'? as in I will only get a chat ban if I am punished again?
It's dependent on how many games you have with good behavior.
The specifics are ambiguous and untold but that's the general idea. It also remains unknown what step of the punishment ladder you are at or how much you've gone down. Stuff like minor poor behavior that wasn't enough to trigger a punishment can slow down your decay.

If you've been playing consistently during those 2 years, then yes. It would have decayed to 0.
