I really believe that if i mute someone in game when we get to the lobby i should still have them muted and not have to see anything they say. Last game i was in 2 people were flaming hardcore about 4 mins in and i muted them and there pings and when i got out of the game they were STILL super toxic. I reported them both but wish i didnt have to see anything they say ever after i mute them.
I do find that to be a reasonable implement. I too believe that that should be a thing. You got my support and upvote.

I disagree. You mute players in-game so they don't distract you, and you can focus on game, but after it finished you can focus (if you want) on these assholes toxic players.
I like to "argue" with them, it's funny seeing how people can be stupid, but not in game, it just makes me play worse

A long time ago, I thought a rioter said something like...it wasn't possible because the game server and the client were 2 different things and that's why the mute wouldn't transfer over.
