Players muted in-game should continue to be muted at the post-game lobby.

After countless games with toxic players, I've resorted to playing with all chat off and muting people as soon as they go sour. This has helped me enjoy the game so much more and be able to play tilt-free for the most part.

But, as soon as I get to the post-game lobby, all of the insults and flaming -I tried to avoid- gets thrown out at me or others. I enjoy talking in the post-game lobby, but I don't want to be tilted by something I can't even control.

I'm honestly surprised this isn't just an innate feature. Not having mute buttons or continuity with who you've muted in-game, is a bit jarring.

One second you're playing very peacefully, because you muted the asshats. Then the next, you're bombarded with everything you tried to avoid in the first place.

It sucks that toxic players have the advantage in situations like this.

This is also the case in champ select when a person is just so suddenly spewing insults at everyone for no real reason. And some think their tasteless humor is clever so they just keep talking and insulting people, but the only thing you can do is dodge or try your best to ignore them.

I feel that this feature is crucial to giving players the ability to defend themselves against toxic behavior.

pls rito

Edit - TL;DR: If you mute someone, they should be globally muted and remain that way until you exit the post-game screen. There should be a mute added to champ select, pings should also be muted from a selected player to avoid further toxic intimidation.

We should be able to mute pings AND not see them from certain people, you know, the people who spam the "?" after you make even one mistake and continue to do it throughout the whole game.

Maybe it's just me, but that shi* is tilting.

I agree. There's been several games that I've become toxic in the post game because as I'm writing the report I'm bombarded by the very speech I muted in game, even more hateful as even tho riot claims they take into account post game and pre game chat, it isn't taken into account with their punishment system. if it was, then they would have an easier way in dealing with toxic players in the pre game lobby..

yeah i don't know why they unmute them when the game is over. it just leads to extra toxicity for no reason

What if people that get muted a lot, lose chat for a few games?

But, you can put players on the block list after the match? Just right click their name and add them to it.

I agree, but this will never happen. Riot has clearly demonstrated their unwillingness to listen to player feedback.

Agreed. This is the only game that has temporary and not permanent muting.

riot just sends you a straw so you can suck it up, people shouldn't be able to be dickks in game and tilt you but post game? just suck it up, ignore them, get over it
