I was playing a game and my team started being really toxic and kept telling me I suck and that I should kill myself so I just stopped caring about the game. Then afterwards one of them added me and sent me this. Is this really what league is coming to? I can't "Name Shame" but this person is one of the worst time of people I mean yeah tell people to uninstall or something, but not kill themselves. Too bad Riot lets these kind of people ruin the game for others.

Sorry to say this bro, but this kind of attitude has been around a hell of a lot longer than Riot has been, and truth be told, there's nothing Riot can do to completely eliminate players like this. So when you do get a game with a player like this, employ the age old tactic that EVERYONE seems to have forgotten about. MUTE THEM.

The thing is if riot actually tackled the root problems, it wouldnt be such an issue. but they'd rather let these people stick around and cause more toxicity which gets "good players" banned and more money in their pockets when they get banned and buy champs/skins on a new account.

Saying mute them is such a joke. i mean even if you mute someone who's toxic as **** they are just going to be toxic again in future games.. this isnt resolving the issue and it's laughable that this the only method in place for dealing with such people..

this is supposed to be a team oriented game. yet were told to mute people that are causing you to get upset/tilted. how the hell can you strategies with people when your muting them? lol and pings only do so much.. if they werent there in the first place you could of gotten someone else who actually wants to play the damn game and not just ruin it for everyone else. time and time again i run into people that intentionally ruin games and remain here. why?

I seen a topic about a "blacklist option". I think that would probably be the best thing riot could do for this game. Once they are blacklisted by enough people get rid of them all together (perma ban/ip ban) or put them in a seperate queue and only allow them to play with other such people (similar to what GTA V online did with people that griefed other players) and now im not talking about getitng rid of someone cause they got "blacklisted cause they went 0-5-0 or whatever. i mean people that are intentionally ruining the game for others. e.g. a tahm kench that eats an ally dives enemy turrets and leaves them for dead. why should someone like this be allowed to play.. why? what good are they? you know what that does? causes someone else to do the same to the next guy and so on. and yet its allowed. makes sense? nope!

Toxic(ity) isn't the right word to use here in any sense. Mean players will be mean players, and IP banning won't do anything but ban innocent players, or are you unaware of the severe IPv4 IP shortage in the US due to the fact that ISPs refuse to spend the money to upgrade to IPv6?

And pings my dear boy, pings. It's the main reason they exist in the game. You don't need to see what the player is typing for them to understand what you're trying say when you ping.

In general though, players that act like jerks in game usually tend not to be so team oriented, so wasting your breathe on them is pointless, and regardless to what you say, the reality of it is, there is nothing that Riot can do to fix it. People have free will and they will do as they please regardless to whether Riot agrees with it or not.

makes sense. that way you can avoid playing with them again. thats what i started doing after watching a gross gore video. better than blocking imo
