hi, i got insulted by someone to get cancer in a ranked game & that player also ban threated me by saying that i will get banned and that he got friends in riot who can get me banned. i did report this player, but he got nothing. how can i report him here ?
If you reported this player post-game, then you did all you need to do. The boards are not the place to report other players and is in fact against the rules.
Something to keep in mind is that not every offense will always result in an immediate punishment, which is why, if you look around the Player Behavior boards, many people will post chat logs from multiple games. This does not mean that this player's behavior was acceptable in that game, just that it wasn't quite enough to push them into punishment territory. Your report against them is still valid and will help get them punished if they continue that type of behavior in the future.
You don't. If you already reported the player, you've done what you can. You may send in a ticket to Player Support, but keep in mind that they won't tell you the outcome of your report. This player could have been having an off day, but if it's consistent behavior in a majority of his/her games, the punishment you want will eventually happen sooner or later.
Take a break and move on from it.
You reported in the post game, feeling motivated to do so. That's step one. Step two is: Move on with your life. Because now, you're the one being quote "toxic"; The community, the boards, and the report systems are not weapons to be used in your personal squabbles.
Even if someone on the internet says "My uncle is a member of the Navy Seal and he and his team can be anywhere in two days so you better watch yourself", this is not appropriate.
You already reported him... time to stop thinking about it and move on with your life bud. Live your life, don't be petty worrying about a stranger getting punished by a game company.
well as far as I know he got punished, but thanks anyways guys.. :] I took it way too hard cause of some personal stuff about the cancer thing
