This leave buster is very flawed! a little back story about my League of Legends past. i have been playing for about 2 years now. pretty active and ive spent my fair share of money on this game, mostly because i enjoy it very much. my issues are with the leave buster. i understand that it is a issue and it needs to go with a punishment, that is not my concern. but im currently deployed to africa with the united states army. i have had my internet disconnected for 2 games in 2 days out of the 10-15 ive played. 2 games. the first disconnect i sat out for my 5 miniutes no problem. the next day my internet bugged out and now i have leave buster for 5 games at 20 minutes. i have been playing this game for far too long to have to deal with the wait time before every game. a few ideas. if the game gets restarted before 5 minutes. give the 5 minute punishement. if you afk halfway through the game the 20 minute seems sufficent enough. 5 minutes for the first 5 minutes is plenty fair.

20 minutes before a 30 minute game is absurd. if you agree please share you experiences and comment so we can get this issue solved.

It is not absurd. Your time is weighted against the time of NINE other people. While you feel your 20 minutes is too much (and you'd have to afk in multiple games to even get 20 minutes), if you add up 5 minutes * 9 people, that 20 minutes of yours is hardly a balance.

Youre looking at the 5 minutes of each player as a cumulative time. it is not. all time each of the 9 players is the same. your arguement is invalid sir. and as i said in my post. 2 games and i got 5 20 minute leave busters. so, yes it is absurd. this video game is one of my favorites out there. but it is not a lifestyle. exspecially for silver players like myself. the punishment is too much for a 2 game D/C i understand that you do not agree, and i do see your side of it. but im standing by my orignial statment. thank you for your input

But the thing is that you did not just dc 2 games though. To even get to 20 minutes, you'd have to historically afk in far more than 2 games. Every time you break the rules, you get that infraction put into your record and if you continuously break rules, even small ones, do all these small infractions not add up when determining your punishment? Is this not how it work in your real life work?

in the last 4 months i havent played until about a week ago. and yes its been two D/C's in that time period. the first was a 5 minute penalty, which is understandable no problem. the second was the 5 20 min leave busters. too bad there is not a way to check your infractions. and yes that is how things work in life. but as i also said earlier this is not a lifestyle for silver players like myself. this game does not need to be treated as a lifestyle. Each game ranges from 20-45 minutes in my league. so now im spending anwhere from 40 minutes to 65 minutes for a game. and on top of that during the leave buster countdown you cant alter runes or shop, which is silly cause it would behove riot to allow in game purchases during 20 minute leave busters. the fact of my point is that the punishment doesn ot fit the crime.
