Queue doging & wait times

So, been playing for 4 or more years. I've had a VERY good track record, almost never leaving queue, never been banned, but get queue blocked 30 minutes for dodging when a child decides to ban my champion because he thinks he deserves to be mid when he was given his secondary pick.

I'm not really complaining about the ban time - I get it, I dodged. Dodging sucks for everyone; 30min is a bit harsh, but whatever. I'm just tired of recently making games and it taking on average 3-4 champ selects before we even get a game started. Why are so many people dodging recently? Are there just this many a**hats playing league who ban friendly champs and someone else (like me) doesn't want to put up with their bullcrap for the next 45 minutes with high likelihood of loosing anyways because of having bad team members unwilling to work with them? Is this just a lower elo thing? I seem to be stuck forever in elo hell so i don't know how other elos have been as far as number of champ selects before a game.

Maybe suggestion: Ban/ queue timer/ something to ban those who in ranked draft ban allied champs (since you can "pick" early to indicate what you're going to play)? There should at least be a way to report allies pre-match who act like immature children. Them not getting punished for "unsportsmanlike conduct" or whatever while I'm stuck waiting 30 minutes because I didn't want to put up with them is garbage.

Suggestion 2: Higher ban times (maybe 1 hour) for dodging. If you wait, then you're good, and ban time increases only each dodge after for the next 24 hours or whatever (keeping track of rate of dodges per game makes). However offer the option to be "forgiven" for the first and maybe 2nd dodge (because you ended up like me with childish allies and didn't want to put up with it). But if you take the forgive option, then much higher penalties are enforced (ban for a day, etc) after 3 + dodges within a week's span, instead of just number of dodges in 24 hours.

If nothing else, something needs to change with how many games it takes to even start a match. This has gotten really bad recently.

Last i check they never do 30min for leave buster. Its either 5, 10, 15, or 20mins. So something seems off. Even with that said you dont get leave buster unless you leave numerous times. So getting a first offense to that high of a punishment is again raising some red flags. Then of course its your reasoning to dodge. I mean i sucks when you want to play a certain champion, but in most cases those champions are what most would consider OP, or FotM. Because of that they have a higher chance of getting ban, and maybe your teammates dont believe youll get it in time especially if you are last or close to last pick. Im not saying its right, but it does seem a bit childish to leave a game all because someone ban one champion out of the hundred that is available.

Plus your idea doesnt make much sense. So you are basically asking for free dodges. or at the very least a couple of dodges with no consequences. The main reason why they dont do this is because people will eventually want more. You want one/two free dodges now and you think that will help. But if you play numerous games a day do you believe those free dodges will hold? So what happens when you use those free dodges? how you are getting harsher punishments because of trolls/etc, and now you want more dodges maybe 5, 10 because its not enough anymore. You keep wanting more.

It sucks when we get people like this, but you really arent helping from dodging. You basically just gave them a free pass because you cannot report, so they will continue this till they get that nice enough person to switch with them, or eventually get the role/champion they want!

Looked up queue dodge info - according to a riot page (updated 4 days ago), dodges carry over across game types. My 1st dodge was yesterday in a normal, and 2nd was solo ranked (this morning with the troll I didn't care to deal with).

To edit my earlier suggestion - Maybe 1st dodge like before, and 2nd offer "forgive" but 3+ penalties stack (e.g. each dodge is 30 min on #2 and forward now, but if you "forgive" the 2nd one then the 3rd is 30+30 min, and the "forgiven" one drops back to a 6 min or whatever.). Just an idea, maybe not pragmatic.

That being said, it is obvious when someone is being a troll/ being an a**, and when they're banning for legitimate reasons/ accidentally. In my case, it was purposeful trolling (@Sarutobi I actually had 1st pick, and wanted veigar - not usually an OP champ but fun to play). I have other mids, I can play whatever, I would've even offered to trade him for lane if he asked, but banning my champ because in the 1st champ select he got mid, and when enemy dodged and we got into same 2nd champ select he didn't get assigned mid - and brags about banning my mid in chat.... I'm just not gonna put up with that crap. I got better things to do than deal with immature kids who want their way. Ban me for 30 min? Fine, I'll go play another game for a while. I don't really care, but I'd rather enjoy the game and loose, than be frustrated at allies and win.
