How to control yourself towards toxic players.

So my 3rd game ever of ranked was pretty frustrating. I was jhin mid and was teamed up with two others who took themselves to seriously. All was good until they never listened to my pings and started to blame me for their deaths *which was their fault for feeding a jinx not even 7 mins into the game she was already 6/1. But anyways since my mid laner roamed they got mad at me for not roaming which i can see partially why. I never was told to roam and how to correctly roam throughout my normal games until these people told me. They could at least have told me in a informative way which would have been helpful. After all they are playing in low tier ranks what do they expect? I think these individuals were people who made second accounts to climb back up in tiers again. But after these two people got hostile towards me i couldn't resist but to tell them things back. After we got into a verbal war i couldn't concentrate anymore and did horrible the rest of the game and they made remarks about me saying i was the cause of the loss and pointed out my statistics after the game to everybody to insult me more. my damage was horrible towards the champs for this reason. When i only went 1/4 lowest deaths in team I have a tendency to fight back when i get heated up. How do i control my anger while in game? What should i tell toxic players who get hostile or hostile to others maybe in some cases? I am going to need it more than ever especially in ranked games.

" I'm playing on my bf's account cuz I'm new and my own account has nothing in it"

They'll suddenly be nice to you and try to show off - might try too hard at it and end up feeding, though.

I know you're not reforming (my thread title probably could've been more generalized) but maybe some of my advice might help?

If you can't resist responding to trolls the only and best immediate answer is to prevent yourself from being able to respond. With that in mind, Suggestions: -Remove the Enter Key on your key board before the match. Be sure to place it somewhere prohibitively difficult to get to for the duration of the match. -Mute everyone at the start of the match.

Thanks everybody for the advice. I did report them after the game since they were the cause of the issue. Now i admit i did use profanity towards them but nothing offensive. If i did get reported by them it would have simply been for me "doing poorly". I will never start a verbal fight between the team ever. I will only fight back or take action if it was directed towards me or somebody else. In a case where it is a completely uncalled for attitude.

Laugh at them. Laugh at how outrageous it is they expect pro-level decision-making at their elo. Laugh at how they can't fathom that its possibly their fault. Laugh at how they think an immobile mid should roam after adequately warning that his/her laner is afk instead of pushing an objective. If you can't see the humor in it, you'll just get more upset and spiral downwards.

If you've noticed you're on a streak of toxicity, let your teammate know in champ select that you'll be hitting /mute all as the game begins. And follow through with it.

Don't take the win so seriously. Play your best, and learn from what you're doing right and wrong. As long as you improve and focus on you, you'll leave those suckers who believe its never their fault far far behind.

Seriously though. Just imagine their faces getting red and spittle flying everywhere as they angrily pound on the keys "reprot mid no follow gg afk omg my life is a disaster." How is that not funny to picture. They're getting that riled over...wait for it...a game. A recreation. Something that, unless they hit pro-status (not happening), will never be a productive part of their lives.
