i mean come on, reporting someone does nothing. i started playing ranked again, was on a winstreak! Boom thank you riot, team member playing akali 16 loss streak! this person is either clearly feeding every game intentionally OR just plain bad at this game. not only this person is unranked, he is playing in high silver.

Reporting is not something people are afraid of, because for one not alot of people report after a game and two they will probably just get a small punishment. Then they return after and just do the same and get away with it.

Also since i have been getting better and actually trying, i am getting more and more people in ranked games that just complete waste time, they will troll, feed or afk.

How does getting paired with an unranked person who has been on an unfortunate losing streak in your high silver game mean the reporting system needs to be fixed?

Doesn't that speak more towards matchmaking?

You admit yourself that the person is feeding or just bad at the game.

Also, what if your MMR is as low as that 16 loss Akali and matchmaking is putting you with people of similar mmr?

It only takes one report to trigger a review. If they're toxic, intentionally feeding with high enough severity and/or frequency, they're punished.

they will probably just get a small punishment. Then they return after and just do the same and get away with it.

Depending on the infraction, they're given a chat ban, suspension, or ban. Again based on severity and frequency.
