What I've learned from being banned

First I want to say im sorry for any mistakes english is not my first language

Two months ago I got suspended for 14 days for being toxic. I honestly was horrible, flaming my team for being bad and the enemies for using "stupid" champions. The ban made me even more mad and i stopped league for a while. I was selfish and i even contacted riot saying stuff like "its unfair" and of course they didnt unban me. After that I started playing on my NA account with some friends and abandoned the banned account.

I decided to force myself to stop talking, I turned off the all chat and i started muting everyone who was being annoying to me. I watched a lot of Olleh, since i like playing support and his possitivity in his games inspired me to be more friendly to my teammates. I started giving them tips, trying to help them when feeding, roaming. I noticed that i started winning more games, sometimes when encouraged my teammates start playing better and focus on the game. And after all of this I climbed quickly from s1 to g3 and still going, and today i got honor 3!

What I learned from all of this is that being toxic wont win you any games, in fact you will lose more. Maybe you are right, maybe the 0/12 Kennen top is being stupid, still trying to 1v1 the top laner, never using tp and missing farm but think about - what would flaming him do to you and your team? He would just feel pressured, bad, he will play even worse. Instead if you encourange him, maybe he will play better. Wont always work cuz....league, but you can try. It feels good when it works. When you are possitive you will have more fun playing as well, you will type less and focus easier on the game.

I even helped banning 3 really toxic players since that. And just then i noticed how horible it looks like when you are being toxic and flaming. I even felt bad for the people being shouted at. They deserved the ban, and I did too 2 months ago. Banning someone toxic feels good, there is one less raging person in the game, and maybe they will even think about what they did wrong and change after being banned!

The post is a bit long and im sorry for that, I just had to share this, cause Im happy for changing myself. I hope that more people do the same so this game becomes more enjoyable!

Good on you to take away a positive. You should also take away the fact that Riot is an awful company to foster a community so toxic it makes the game unplayable. Look at CS:GO, Valve does practically nothing and it isn't half as bad.

What I've learned: don't flame the subhumans because you will get screwed in the end, not them
