I was recently just given a email about my account being permanently banned for malicious 3rd party software on the launcher, I don't have any cheats or anything, and have been barely playing the game due to my computer dying so my games have been spread out from a few days to a few weeks in between games. I feel I have been falsely accused of something I haven't done when I have barely played the game as other games have been catching my interest at the moment.
If your computer died did you play it on a friends computer. The cheats dont have to be active and the client scans everytime you logged in. So if your friend had cheats it might of gotten you banned too
If I have to, I will post a link to the almost 12 min video of me going though all the hassle of trying to launch the game and having it crash repeatably. I even got one of the errors I usually get shortly after, going to post a picture of that as well if need be.
There is only one thing I can think of that might be the cause of the ban, and if it is, I am going to be extremely angry. It was an App that I was told to use called LoLSumo, according to other players, my friends, the forums, and the countless YouTube videos that I saw advertising it and even the creators themselves, the App does not break any of Riots rules and is safe to use. I used for a few games but didn't like it because it wanted to charge me money for a Pro version which would give me video guides on champions. If that is the reason I am banned then I would like to HEAVILY fight it as if it is a bannable offence why are League of Legends Players constantly recommending it to everyone.

I have gone through EVERYTHING that I have ever done on that account and this is the only thing I can think of that would lead to this ban. None of this makes sense though as I will receive no information regarding my ban. I just want to play the game, on the account that I have owned since the end of Season 1, I have spent a few hundred dollars on that account over the years. Now I am being told that I used hacks on a game I have been barely playing and have to suffer the consequences of possibly using this APP that has over 1 million downloads, being advertised by league players in and out of game and on YouTube. If all of this is a problem then how are the casual players, the one who will suffer the most from the bans supposed to know what is exactly breaking the rules and what is not when the app says its ok, the players say its ok, and a Riot Member on the forums say its ok. Either the App was not ok and we were all lied to, or the system is flawed and I am one of the few falsely accused victims of a permanent account ban.
LolSumo is fine. Complaining about this on the forum will not change anything. You need to send a ticket and be patient.
