Question about new honor system.

Does getting reported (Not Punished) slow down honor leveling? I ask since I'm yet to be punished since this system was added but haven't ranked up in it at all while some people have 5 already. When it was launched i thought honors would only help a little in the climbing processes.

yes, valid reports do slow down your honor leveling progress.

Do valid reports not trigger a punishment? or is it a you must get a certain amount of valid reports in x games to get punished.

Yeah, Riot collects a bunch of reports first before punishing.

Do all reports hit honor or just some and is there any sources on this? For example: I get reported in normals for playing random shit in the jungle. Does that hurt me?

Honestly man, I don't know. I don't get reported...

How do you know that? xD You don't get notified when you are reported and i know for fact you've been reported for just having bad game one time.

Sure, Maybe I do get reported. I can guarantee you 100% of the time those reports are false though. I never flame, I never troll.

Having a bad game isn't punishable, so those reports are thrown in the garbage. As long as you always try, never flame, and never go afk you're not going to get punished.

You can send a letter to Riot and pay $5 and then see the reports against you.

They have to be valid reports. i.e. the system found that there was either verbal toxicity in your games (even if it is minor) or intention to ruin games / other people's experience.

The type of game mode does not matter. Valid report is a valid report.

like those who are honor lvl 5 never get reported hahahah sure riot

I'm not claiming that. I just want clarity on how the the reports interact with the honors. Some people report all if they lose so those reports I would imagine wouldn't hurt your honor but someone reports you for negative attitude and he reports fairly accurately and the system can't tell if you should proc a punishment or not does it hit my honor instead?

there is a difference between getting reported and getting validly reported.

Reports alone won't do anything.

Valid reports are a different matter.
