Banned... for MMR boosting really riot

I logged on yesterday to find out i was suspended for 2 weeks, I check my emails and the reasoning is appalling. Banned for for MMR boosting?? I am a die hard Talon player and also play a good amount of Ahri on the side where most of my ranked games come from this season, of course unless they were banned or i auto filled. I dont understand i climbed all the way to plat which was my goal. After that i wasnt hard stuck i just had no urge to keep climbing. So i would log on every 30 days and play a ranked game right before i hit decay status. There is absolutely no reasoning behind this ban.

I see something suspicious in your games. In whole of s5 and s6 you didnt touch Ahri (nor Talon for that matter). In February of 2017 u picked it up in ranked, racked insane winstreak with insane stats for an amateur with her. You were in Silver until u picked her up and RAPIDLY launched yourself to Platinum. All games with Ahri after that were mild in comparison, some were very bad. So yes, it looks like this ban is justified. Someone boosted u from Silver to Plat in February with Ahri.

i dropped old LB for ahri after she was reworked cause i didnt like old LB rework also Talon after he was reworked i fell in love with him. I was only gold V in season 6, but i climbed to plat in season 7 idc what u say lmao

Looking through your history makes it seem obvious you boosted.

You went from pretty bad with ahri or not even playing talon/ahri, to jumping right into ranked and gaining MASSIVE win-streaks. It doesn't make sense that someone with little to poor experience with champions that have somewhat advanced mechanics can carry games without having very much positive experience with them. It really doesn't make sense that someone could carry multiple tiers this way either.

Remember: No one gets good all of a sudden, legitimate players gradually improve their mechanics and positioning, it is not a light switch scenario, however your sudden improvement seems as though it all clicked in an instant and you just become a better player despite your lack of positive experience with those two champions. It is easy to conclude someone else with better in-game skills and knowledge played for you.

While that is a likely scenario, you don't know what other accounts he has to practice on. I'm sure Riot can check IP addresses, so the ban is likely correct. People also pay friends (or acquaintances) to boost them in real life, but that is difficult to prove. I do agree with your statement that no one can just instantly improve.

Like seeing someone suck in adc, then they go to a 95% winrate on jungle, and back to playing their regular champs.

You're best bet would be to file a support ticket. I can't promise the ban will be reversed, but they will take a second look at your account to recheck it.

i was plat last season too, and this season..i just want to know how they ban, by someone reporting me or sending a ticket

I believe the system looks for sudden spikes in winrates with new champs, and when those flagged players roll through the very hard matches Riot gives you to test you, flagging you for an investigation from a Rioter to decide. Reports can also trigger an investigation.

That's my guess anyway.
