Speechless...

I prematurely apologize if this comes of as a rant (it is a rant), but after my second loss during my promos, I just felt compelled come out of lurking and to post. As a support main, I try my best to make picks/play, add vision, and any other way I can as a support to help my team win the game.

It just scrapes me at my core, when I queue in for a ranked game, and 2 of the carries (hec and luc) start flaming each other and after they carry for a decent portion of the game, and on a whim, proceed to throw. Lucian, one of the carries, claims that "he doesn't care to try to win and that he just wants to play Lucian". Eventually they both proceed to throw the game; making me question what should I have done and what I should do in the future (trying to get kills for them, etc) Near the end, someone said they would report the Lucian; he did not care. Noting the intentional throws and sudden bad play-styles of both carries, I typed out in frustration, "what can I do...I feel like I'm being trolled"; Hecarim responded "You are". He also responded "...and there's nothing you can do about it, but since you had such a good attitude, Ill honor you after the game"...

...

I'm speechless... I'm livid; As a long time supporter of League of Legends & as a support main wishing to combat all this toxicity with positive words... I wish riot can do something about it; I'm honestly depressed and astounded at the gall these people have these days. Its not even the flaming I'm pissed about, its the listless attitude and blatancy in which people troll with, as though they are aware Riot will not be able to ban them fast enough.

/endrant

/aside: we should be like Korea; have our SSNs tied to our game accounts; being banned, free account or not, is being banned for life....

Hey, I liked your post. I sometimes get on tilt and say some mean things, but I think what really helps is just muting all players at the beginning of the match. Anything that needs to be communicated can be done through pings. I find that it helps to focus on your game and if others tilt, you just have to keep playing your best. Muting allows you to focus more on the play and your game rather than the tilters. You won't win all matches and it definitely sucks losing promos, but I promise if you keep trying and just mute all you will slowly climb out and improve. :)

I think about it all the time, people in the army are fighting for people that troll and are all around assholes. Anyone else think that?

strictly speaking hecarim isn't a carry, he is a tanky bruiser and he is a strong independent pony who ain't need no support

then, i dunno how you even support with that attitude. i mean, even me (and it's better not to meet me when i'm auto-filled support or even queued support voluntarily, i mean, my very first game (normal draft though) after a nearly 2 years long hiatus i was janna and it was like that, i suddenly got mad at my adc and refused to use a single spell to help him in lane... got friend requests and honor regardless, lol, since i supported team fights well; and it's a relatively harmless thing i can do, i was very surprised it didn't go away after all these years but it's like that, i'm just better not to support, really, unless my adc/team treats me well i may be tempted to throw a fit, it's not like that for any other role), so even me have a better attitude than you, half of my team can go afk for what i care, i will do my best, report them after the game and will move on without whining like "i set up them kills and they throw it away bawww"

really, some games can't be won, just don't throw them yourself, sometimes you are against a team where they throw, it evens out and since you don't throw yourself you have the upper hand and so you win more. inters, afkers etc are actually your friends, they help you to win more on average (at least in solo/duo, it's a bit more complicated with pre-mades)

p.s. there is a reason a lot of asians refuse to play on the korean server. since most of countries (except asian ones because asians are into that beehive stuff) don't have laws forcing you to provide your id to register in a game, a game which would demand you to provide your id number to be registered would go bankrupt in an instant

p.p.s. you did the top damage to champions on both teams that game as zyra, so i dunno what you even complain of, you played a carry too... not like you were soraka/janna/taric/whatever

That seems to be a bit of an overreaction.
