End of season rewards?

Is there a difference between a ban and suspension? I got a suspension that ends on the 19th, so it won't be active when the season ends, but it is longer than 7 days and was after 8/22. Which is odd because according to the FAQ, the penalty goes from chat restrictions straight to 14 days through the instant feedback system and there is no 7 day ban/suspension. Would I still be eligible for any of the rewards?

As someone that grinded super hard this season and played a lot throughout (especially at the beginning), I'm irritated with myself for losing my shit at the end of the season, even though I was playing significantly more and honorably at the beginning. I'm hoping that I'm still eligible, but wasn't sure given the wording of the post.
