Limits on Low Level Matchmaker Experience

I just played in a game with a Kha'zix, in a begginer AI match [I'm level 10], who was level 30 and made the entire gameplay experience totally unfun.

I was playing Yi jungle to practice him for PvP since i just got smite and I wanted to learn how to clear the jungle effectively and such but this Level 30 Kha'zix not only killed every bot before anyone else could he also started killing the camps that I was killing quite literally one shotting them. He did this for as much of the game as possible.

He then proceeded to take it upon himself to tell me how to jungle and would ping harass every camp he wanted me to take next and if I didn't he would start killing it. At one point he was following me around and would just murder bots and make no effort to push towers, just get kills.

Can we please PLEASE not let level 30 players be matchmade with players under level 20 in Intro and Beginner bots? I'm tired of people like this ruining the fun of the game when I'm trying to learn and get better.

His excuses. "It's just a coop lol" "I'm a jungle main want some advice?"

His "excuse" was "I'm a jg main, want some help?" and you didn't think to maybe... ASK FOR HELP???

It's obvious he's better than you. It's OBVIOUS you don't know how to play even against bots. Maybe instead of posting a book on the forums about a player that's better than you perhaps you should understand it's YOUR JOB to learn from those players and help yourself and your future team mates and not to do whatever you feel like because you're "practicing" some bullshit.

Want to practice jg? Go watch a youtube for the champion of choice, queue a real match, build like they do on mobafire and follow the jungle path they did on youtube while ganking a bit. You will NEVER ( NEVER EVER EVER) get good at jungle or learn anything more than when to recall in a bot game as a jg. Any argument you raise here in this forum is false.

Sounds like he was trying to give you advice that you wouldn't accept.. jungle is the hardest position to pick up due to all the jungle mechanics and strats.. You should have listened to him hopefully he was a decent jg player and you would have most likely learned how to jg slightly more than you just slamming your champ into jungle camps and hoping it worked out.

Sorry people are abusing intro and beginner bots, but I would hate not being matched with low level accounts when I queue up because I actually do it with the intention of helping new players have a good time. I actually just did a beginner bot where I played full AP Gnar and everyone thought it was hilarious how much damage I could do.

For intro bots I like to take Nami/Sona/Soraka and watch the lanes until I figure out which player is struggling the most and then help them out so they have a good time.

What most people commenting here (saying things like "why didn't you take his advice") fail to realize is that advice, no matter how good that you offer without being prompted by the new players, will go ignored because you make them feel like you're looking down on them. I used to give unsolicited advice in intro bots and I learned that doing so can push the new players away from the modes designed to help them learn because they fear having me or other experienced players breathing down their neck.

Stomping the bots and then punishing the jungler by taking his camps if he doesn't do what you ask when you ask is not helping him/her learn. I invite those commenting here to jump into a few intro and beginner bot games without disrupting them by going 30/0/0 and make a new player feel good about playing the game.

I'm sorry I have to disagree with the below posts. I do think matchmaking for bots should be based on level. I am lvl 30 and I haven't touched bots in wow awhile, I only join when a friend is starting the game and I'm teaching the basics.

A lvl 10 should not be paired with a lvl 30. Recently I have gotten two friends into the game and they have a issue going into bot games when they get paired with a lvl 30 who's just mercing everything and the game ends at maybe 20 mins.

"Its coop Lol" - So is a normal 5v5. "I main jungle, want some advice?" - Sorry but if you're in a bot game I doubt you know how to handle yourself in 5v5s.

There is the option to do a custom and load your own bots but you miss out on IP. And I dont think someone should be forced to hit Pvp/ARAMS just to play when bot games are being flooded with Ego-Strokers.

OP Do not listen to the people below, mainly the "He's OBVIOUSLY Better than you" guy.

Hopefully Riot will fix this and allow new players to learn at their own speed rather than have their learning curved because someone can only play against AI and not real players when their account is max lvl.
